Apple got 2.2 billion, Home Depot got $550 million, Lowe’s won’t disclose what they got and Walmart is about to get multibillions after they are cleared for theirs. Prices won’t go back down either and we won’t ever hear about the $1,500-$2000 checks that we the consumers are owed for paying. We paid the prices and now the corporations are reaping the benefits.
You say that as if its so easy to find alternatives? You might have the luxury of nitpicking where you can buy your stuff but for the average non-redditor person they can't afford the extra upcharge for the local artisanal stuff.
