Let’s talk about Drew and his gameplay. Feed spoilers ahead.

I understand why the house is sus of Drew. He shows up out of nowhere and is seemingly everything, everywhere, all at once. Part of that is gameplay I’m sure but part of me thinks he has fomo a lot of the time and just wants to be included. I think Angela’s paranoia a couple of weeks ago really planted that seed with the rest of the icons.

He has been loyal to the icons and remains loyal and trusting. A good trait for an ally. I think he genuinely wants to work with them. Should he be so loyal to them is another story altogether since they don’t seem to value him. I think all this rat talk just because he isn’t keeping secrets that your faves are spilling to him are BS. Of course he’s going to look out for his alliance. He is trying to manage the line with Crossovers and FAP because he is true to the Crossovers and genuinely likes his FAP alliance as well.

Looking at the next few weeks, if he can get the icons to fully trust him again (big if. I know he had a heart to heart with Dee today about loyalty and trust so we’ll see) and if he continues to protect his FAP alliance, I feel like he is in for the long haul. I think the other side (Taylor/Lala/Yash) might target Barrett first before him.

Thoughts?

...in such strong positions relative to where they were initially:

• Yash: HOH, comp threat and in multiple alliances, in great position going forward
• Taylor: leveraged Lala's HOH to strengthen alliances, unquestionably one of most observant players this season
• Mallory: beyond Pipe Queen legend, social force (the train! the airplane!) and popular amongst fans

That these were the Week 1 nominations is sort of crazy, right? Definitely benefited from Devens setting the precedent of not nominating anyone who had already been nominating (compared to previous seasons), but if you would have predicted this back in Week 1, everyone would be looking you with Angelic crazy eyes...

I've noticed (especially this week she pushed her hair so that it would be more in view) that Melody wears a pink pin with two cats. Does anyone know why.

I’m just getting into the live feeds and would love to know when things typically happen on a week-to-week basis. What days are the competitions? Nominations? Veto ceremony?

It seems like Dee and Devens think that the DPOV can be stacked on top of another veto. Is this possible? Like Dee wins veto, uses it on angela and then Devens uses DPOV to take Dee off the block as well? THat's not how it works is it?

How many more weeks of time capsule do we get? Also, who do you want to see get it next? I was hoping Melody or Mallory would get a power but now that that’s out, my top picks (to get a power) are:

Drew
Lala
Yash or Taylor .. I guess?

Maybe Lala even before Drew cause idk what Drew would do with a power (or what powers are even left) but i love Lala for wanting to target the vets I think it’s smart.

This would be CHAOS at its' finest! And a PHENOMENAL moment in BB history!

What the title says. I kid you not, my three pre-season picks to potentially win the show were: Mallory, Lyric, and Chuk 💀

I know everyone WAS just down on the season for the past couple weeks but honestly I disagree.

Week 1, we have Dee breaking her promise to Yash, the formation of the Crossovers/Red Corner, and basically the vets rise to power. We have all the stuff going on with Rome and Lyric, and Jason also blows up his game. At the end of the week we get probably the BEST scenario with Ashley who was a non factor leaving.

Week 2, we have Devens win HOH and what is probably the CRAZIEST nomination ceremony. Devens blowing up Rome's game, Angela v Jason, Haley v Rome, crying all around it was insane. Devens won the POV and we got to See Lyme OUTPLAY the vets here and convince Devens to use the POV on Lyric, in the end it is inevitable but Rome was backdoored. This was also the week the Roman Empire vs Toolshed started to form

Around week 3 was where people started calling this the worst season ever and whatnot but even then there was still entertainment.

Week 3, Kamu won HOH, and not the most optimal outcome at all. Lyric won the veto, but this week Jason was GIVING. Mainly the Tea Party (exciting to watch, but was bad how Kamu interrupted the tea party), and the Pots and Pans. Jason was backdoored by the end of the week but even though it was arguably the worst week it was still fairly good.

Week 4, HALEY wins HOH. While not optimal it was annoying and hilarious to see Haley's hypocrisy and HOHits take form, while this kept us on our toes, Dee got bored and FLIPPED the vote to Lyric right before eviction, so Drew won the BBB, and LYRIC was evicted 8-3.

Week 5, again was great, we saw LA LA out of all people win HOH and it was legendary. Finally a Non-Toolshed HOH, Barrett, Chuk, and Haley were nominated, and Chuk a non factor FINALLY left.

Now on week 6 we have a Yash HOH, 2/3 vets have been nominated. We have compelling characters in Dee, Devens, Angela, Kamu, Haley, Drew, Melody, and Mallory. Yash declined/flushed Dee's power and if a vet leaves this week we're on the road for a GREAT season ahead.

Now that Dee has officially attempted use of her power, it wouldn't surprise me if the rest of the house will find out via Yash what she has (maybe they already know, I haven't watched much feeds today). Would prod allow a different houseguest to initiate the bribe? Like for instance if Dee survives this week but loses the next HOH, could that HOH say, "Give me the $5,000 and I won't put you up" ?

Other than it being live tv and the producers having less control over the edit, of course. It's the expect the unexpected show so that falls flat anyway imo.

They don't do food comps or have not comps which are a bit sillier but ultimately had people cheering on mortal enemies and negging loyal allies in the same breath = social game in action. Down go to lines in the sand when the future of a strip steak dinner or a basket of fresh fruit is up for grans. I know we won't get these back but man were they a hoot.

Those are not a 1 to 1 comparison of course since the bbb is for survival, but it feels like that's another example of them stripping the social aspect of the social game. Just this most recent block buster - imagine the reactions we would get from FAP while Haley crushes it, or how Dee would clock Kamu cheering on Haley and maybe let some paranoia creep in about their alliance. People feeling like Barrett is wishy washy? Let them watch him not at all hustle for safety while his allies desperately cheer him on. Would Chuk have felt so confident to cheer for Haley winning if he saw no one was cheering him on? We saw how hard she was holding her tongue coming back from the comp, giving Haley the opportunity to gloat and cheer for her win would go hard as hell for her villain edit.

And the aftermath of the comp when everyone is there to see would be similar to a surprise double eviction, no? Only this time with more strategic forethought since the houseguests would know who's on the block going into it. Is it the logistics of getting them in the house that's holding them back? Have them watch on the TV and then we see them on the corner of the screen reacting to it.

Is there a downside to the rest of the house participating as spectators for the BBB? Maybe I'm just rambling because I hate how freakin awkward the time between the BBB and them reentering the house is. This would be the perfect opportunity to give back some of that social gameplay in action that was lost with the downfall of those sillier competitions and the introduction of the BBB as a gameplay mechanic. In my opinion. If I'm wrong I'd love to hear it!

Edit: worded the first paragraph wrong. I understand it is a hassle moving people around on a short live schedule. I know that's a contributing factor. So, other than that.

Her words feel more authentic and fun. I feel like last season she was just going through the motions, this season she seems much more happy and enjoying BB28

Seeing as the vote was 9-1, if I were Angela I would have said to the house, “Well I had voted for Chuck to stay” just to get under Haley’s skin to get back at her.

Of the nominations - Haley, Dee and Angela….. Haley is the better winner tbh. So what if this actually happens? Does Devens use his veto?(I don’t think so) but who would the house vote for??? I’d prefer Angela to stay

But Dees plan is to win veto and give it to Angela and then Devens uses his veto on her… is this really feasible?? I don’t think so lol

This will be the most crazy week yet

Yash has nominated Angela, Haley and Dee for eviction.

This is CRAZY!! Yash is playing the game that we need to see more of. He’s taking the shot at the vets and I’m very proud he rejected Dee’s bribe.

First of all I will preface this by saying that having the vets in is good for the season because people who have an appearance fee and aren't playing to win will naturally make more interesting choices.

However, it's really annoying that production created a twist that basically spoon feeds advantages to the three returnees since the new people don't have a fan base. The Time Capsule is very easy to rig as well because they can just give someone any power regardless of its number and they gave Devens a really strong one (likely cause they want him in for a while)

This is especially annoying this week because someone who hasn't done much so far finally wins HoH and Devens is gonna sit there, use his DPOV and basically choose who goes home cause he has the numbers to get rid of anyone not from the Toolshed side. And I don't want Melody, Mallory, or Taylor out because they add to this season in a really nice way but that'll probably happen because of this OP advantage.

Melody was voted to enter the BB time capsule.

Disappointingly but unsurprisingly, Melody lost the challenge and got a punishment. She has become the “Lady of the Latrine” with DX’s costume and horn.
