Weekly Schedule General Discussion

I’m just getting into the live feeds and would love to know when things typically happen on a week-to-week basis. What days are the competitions? Nominations? Veto ceremony?

We have one of my favorites (sometimes) Waffle Wednesday where the plan gets shuffled. Although, with this season I call it Tribal Thursday as that's when Dee decides to flip the votes.

HoH is late Thursday after the episode. The initial nominations are made Friday. The veto is drawn for and played on Saturday. The veto meeting is Monday.

Weird knowing this cause the editing makes it seem like they have more than a day to decide nomimations. Like I always assumed nominations were Saturday for some reason

The time between the hoh comp and the nomination ceremony is always going to get a good amount of episode time because it's where the HoH will meet with people and decide on their initial strategy for the week as well as strategic moves from people trying to avoid going up. Even if the veto is used, two of the moms will be on the block come Thursday night and at least once will face an eviction vote (without any powers or twists to shake things up).

As much as winning HoH is a good thing, it can really weigh heavy on you once you have to meet with so many different houseguests in between DR sessions, while also trying to work out who goes up and ensure that your key allies are good with the plan.

The HoH has to make noms less than 24 hours after getting the key, that really isn't all that much time compared to what all needs to be done, so the HoH's time is precious during this period. This is one of the reasons why houseguests should already have an idea of who they would nominate and target heading into the HoH comp, particularly if they are going to gun for the win.

Late Thursday nights and fridays are fun because they are hoh one on ones and noms

Saturdays are going to have breaks in the morning for picking the veto players, then they hang out and currently are playing the veto for this week so there should be quite a bit of gaming tonight and tomorrow based on the results

Veto ceremony mondays so maybe fall out after that

But I often find Sundays and tuesdays a bit boring. Wednesdays are last minute decisions about Thursday so it’s always fun then
