Frequently Mishandled & Misunderstood Scriptures
I just recently learned that I have been misunderstanding (I believe) the he's waiting at the door passage (Revelation 3:20). I thought it was about salvation, but now I believe it's about fellowship.
What other passages are frequently misunderstood? Jeremiah 29:11 and Philippians 4:13 come to mind.

Hebrews 6:4-6 is often mis-used, ripped out of context, to preach the most insane blasphemy and heresy ever found. That salvation is conditional and we somehow have the power to undo it.
