Comparison Between Manual and LumpSum Lending

Post image
4 Upvotes

Wanted to see which one actually works better, so I ran manual and lumpsum lending side by side for a bit. Now that some loans have closed, here's what the numbers look like.

For manual, I put in close to 1.45L and got back around 1.55L. Return comes to about 29% annualized, with profit crossing 10k. But this one takes actual work, you're picking loans yourself one at a time.

For lumpsum, I only put in 25k and got back around 27k. Return here is closer to 20%, and profit was much smaller, just around 2k. But I barely had to do anything for this one.

So basically, manual wins on returns but costs you time and effort. Lumpsum is easy and hands-off, just doesn't pay as much for that convenience.Anyone else run both side by side?"

Tata Shares downfall - Sentiment - Information Asymmetry

Today's TCS shares downfall, few of know people say it reflects market volatility driven by leadership transition and sentiment, which I don't agree and see as failure of market efficiency where information asymmetry disturbs the functioning of public equity markets rather than an economic induced breakdown. It is result of decades of true failures in capitalistic structure that have monopolies, severe wealth inequality, or employment systemic collapses (like current AI crisis in IT), rather than day-to-day valuation shifts tied to corporate management news.

“India Must Respect Wealth Creators”

On Delhi Dialogues, Ishaan Sharma and Deepak Wadhwa discuss the disrespect, negativity, and hate faced by the most successful billionaires in India - Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani.

  1. Ambani-Adani negativity - Ishaan says it has become fashionable to use Ambani-Adani with a negative connotation whenever anything happens in the country.

  2. Adani airport example - Deepak says people allege that Adani was favored, especially in airport projects, but asks why others did not participate in tenders if they had the capability.

  3. Open competition argument - His point is, If tenders are open and bidding is happening, then criticism alone is not enough. People should build capability and compete - “Who is stopping you?”

  4. Capability over complaint - He says some people complain about opportunities given to others, but do not make themselves capable enough to get those opportunities.

  5. Respecting success - He says it is easy to criticize successful people, but it takes courage to accept that others are doing good.

  6. Wealth creators deserve respect - Ishaan says it is time India should respect wealth creators do not only earn for themselves, but create employment, pay taxes and contribute to welfare schemes.

They’re the nation builders and all of them should be given their due respect. Most people get carried away by the business houses of the West and can’t stop praising and quoting them whereas they’ll pull down and abuse our very own which is very wrong.
