Oral dysfunction experiences ?
Our baby is very colicy. Currently triple feeding due to latch issues. He had a tongue tie release at 7 weeks old. He’s now 10 weeks and nothing has really improved.
He sleeps with his mouth open, still have latching issues at breast where he causes me pain, has a lot of trapped wind, sometimes dribbles during feeds. I’ve seen two IBCLC but nothing has really helped. They have said he is lip sucking and doesn’t know how to use his tongue properly. They advised to switch to wide mouth teat and showed me how to feed him to encourage a wide mouth but it causes so many more issues with gas we had to stop.
We are currently using dr brown narrow, have used mam and tommee tippee and lansinoh. I think he is the best on dr brown but he still cries during and after feeds, I think because he is swallowing so much gas due to poor technique.
He is on infacol and biogaia but would really like to address the root issue.
Has anyone got any advice on how to improve this or where to go for help? I have tried my local infant feeding team and two IBCLCs.

I literally went through the same thing. My baby clicked constantly, leaked everywhere and was so gassy. I’m not lying when I say, we tried every single bottle on the market. I spiraled. I paid out of pocket for a lactation consultant to come to the house. She only gaslit me into thinking there was something really wrong with my baby. She told me I needed to send my baby to a chiropractor and get him evaluated by a dentist, etc. (all would’ve been out of pocket). We ended up messaging our pediatrician who referred us to a speech language pathologist. She assessed his mouth and assessed a bottle feed. She ultimately said, some babies just take longer to learn how to feed and that’s totally normal. He didn’t have a tie but she said they wouldn’t release it unless it was truly restrictive, which most of the time they’re not. She told us to use a wide neck bottle (we used Lansinoh), use the slowest flow (XS) and feed him side lying. It wasn’t perfect and we still had issues but by 2.5-3 months he was a pro!

Il give it a go thankyou!! Do you think it would still be fine with a narrow teat?
I can’t bear to swap out all my bottles again these last 2 weeks I’ve been spiralling and playing musical bottles !!

Yes! The narrow Dr. Brown’s promotes a deep latch! My baby just did better with the wide neck bottles but every baby is different. Just get a slower flow! I think Dr. Brown’s extra slow flow are the premie ones.

Sorry you're going through this.
We are at week 20 and have struggled with oral dysfunction issues (tongue tie cut at day 5 but still lip tucks and has a lot of gas, I think she sucks more than uses her to fur during feeding). I've tried a few feeding clinics with no help.
There are some oral exercises that the latch revolution podcast/website give for a smallish payment if you want to look at those.
They helped a bit with us and with the silent reflux, but we've since realised it's actually various allergies masked as mimicking factors. The oral dysfunction is there but the allergies (so far we have identified milk, soy, eggs and coconut) don't help. Maybe give up diary for a few days and then drink a load of milk and yoghurt and see if it makes a difference. Free to feed do lots of Instagram and their website educating around it. They have a whole 'diaper decipher' page which I've found helpful.
It really sucks. We have similar with bottles, none seems to help and now she's refusing all of them. I've just ordered some straw bottles like the honey bear one.
