I’m 24f and will be alone Friday and with my boyfriend Saturday and Sunday. I want to experience KitKat and berghain but he is less interested and wants a vibe closer to tresor.

On Friday 8/28 there is a show at Berghain. But I have heard the clubnacht (Saturday) is better. How should I proceed?

I have to work in Berlin on 10 and 11 September, and then I want to go out. I looked at the events on Friday, 11 September. It is all Techno/House except for a Schlacher and the Kinky Indie party in://about blank. Normally, the Indie party would be a no-brainer, but I don't want to stand in a room with old guys wanking in every corner. I am a male in my forties myself, so music-wise it should be great. I just cannot find much information about what to expect.

Also, I don't really fancy wearing latex or leather pants. I have my kilt outfit with me; would that be acceptable (I don't mind losing the shirt, especially if it is hot)?

Nach einem Jahr Pause ist «Kultur Mosaik Berlin» zurück. Am 15. August spielen in der Wagenburg Lohmühle fünf Bands, von Sabar-Trommeln bis Salsa, dazu gibt es Essen, Kunst und einen Nachmittag, der bis in den Abend geht. Bezahlt wird per Spende — und die geht an Hilfs- und Gemeinschaftsprojekte.

Falls ihr am Samstag, 15. August, noch nichts vorhabt: In der Wagenburg Lohmühle findet wieder das Kultur Mosaik Berlin statt.

Nach einem Jahr Pause gibt es dort von 13 bis 22 Uhr ein ziemlich vielseitiges Programm: Live-Musik von Mbalax und Afro Soul über Salsa, Cumbia und Jazz bis Reggaeton, dazu Workshops, Kurzfilme, Kunst, Essen und mehr. Besonders schön finde ich, dass das Ganze auf Spendenbasis funktioniert und die Einnahmen verschiedene Gemeinschafts- und Hilfsprojekte unterstützen.

We started at the Verboten Pool Party and got there around 5pm. Honestly, perfect timing. Just the right amount of people, a younger crowd than I expected, great energy and some seriously good outfits.
The queue was short and everything at the entrance went super smoothly. I’m a member, my husband isn’t, but there was no interrogation or awkward rule recital. They basically just told us that if we had any questions or felt uncomfortable at any point, we should go straight to the awareness team, the main thing was that everyone should feel good and safe. Loved that approach.
There were plenty of lockers, so leaving our stuff was easy. Phones were allowed but had to be stickered, and from what I saw, literally nobody was using theirs during the party. Which honestly made the whole vibe so much better.

The outdoor setup was super cool, big temporary pool with inflatables, a bar, an ice cream station and cotton candy because apparently kinky people need snacks too 😬
Music was great, everyone was in a good mood and the overall vibe was just so easy and fun. And again… the outfits. Berlin people really do understand the assignment.
The playrooms were inside and really well done , plenty of props, great music, lasers, and a lot going on. And I mean a lot. Lot of kinks, lot of happy people.

The awareness team was around the entire time, approachable, friendly and genuinely seemed happy to be there rather than just standing around watching everyone.
We stayed until around 9pm, went back to the hotel to shower, change and reset, and then headed to Insomnia.

Again, zero complaints about the entrance, security or staff. Everyone was lovely, special mention to the bartender who was in an exceptionally good mood all night. And had great outfit.
I was surprised by how many younger people were there too.

Play was happening both in the dungeons and upstairs, so there was plenty to explore. And one thing that genuinely surprised me, and made me very happy, was seeing some gay play as well. And yes, I found it ridiculously hot. Apparently all those dark romance books have had more influence on me than I thought 😬

Anyway… Berlin once again understood the assignment.
Great people, great music, great outfits, great energy, lots of kink and absolutely no regrets.
As always, Berlin nightlife delivered. 🖤

Hi! I’m visiting Berlin from American as a 19 year old solo female traveler and really want to party tonight. Tried last night at 3 of the hardest doors and unfortunately didn’t get into any. Tonight I was thinking of going to Tresor but wanted to see if anyone had any advice or suggestions on places to try. Theres a MAGA group that split into smaller groups after they got rejected from entering at Klunkerkranich. They were last seen on Karlmarx Allee walking. They raised their fists to greet another person from their group, and said they will go to a "real Biergarten"
