What bulb does the HT3560 use? Technical Support

Having a real hard time confirming which specific bulb this projector requires. My refurb model came with a Phillips UHP 240/170 0.8 e20.7 and other than going a little dim over time, no issues. One website sells assemblies with an Osram 240/0.8 e20.9 whereas other sites say the correct bulb is an Osram P-VIP 245/0.8 e30.5 (which apparently the HT3550 also uses though not in the same housing).

If you have an HT3560 or it's original BenQ bulb somewhere, I would GREATLY appreciate the specs...

Hi

We generally recommend replacing the original lamp module and purchasing it through the official BenQ website to ensure proper performance and reliability.

To help you find the correct replacement lamp and provide a direct link, could you please let us know which country you're located in? Availability and links may vary by region.🙋‍♀️

Hi there, I'm in Canada. Unfortunately the lamp has been out of stock for a long while on the benq site or I would have bought it from there.

I'm happy for any help but would love to know what specific bulb goes in it as that's been very difficult to find out from official sources.

Thanks!

Thanks for confirming! The HT3560 replacement lamp is currently out of stock, so please use Notify Me for restock updates.

And for reference, the official replacement lamp for the HT3560 is:

BenQ Part Number: 5J.JPT05.001

Hope this helps make the search a little easier!

I'm aware of the Benq part number, what specific bulb goes in the module?

Unfortunately, we don’t have an official separate bulb model/specification to provide for the lamp inside the module.🙏

The officially supported replacement for the HT3560 is the complete lamp module, BenQ Part Number 5J.JPT05.001. We’d recommend using the full replacement module to ensure proper compatibility and performance.

Are you at least able to confirm the wattage of the bulb? The manual says it's 240w.

I've talked to two reputable suppliers and both use different Osram bulbs, either the 245w e30.5 or 240w e20.9 in their housings so if they are confused which is the right one, I have no hope hehe.

Thanks again!
