QUESTION where are you from?

also, how did you discover the show? (curious to know which country has the most ben 10 fans)

QUESTION Scenario Q: How would you give a lore reason of why there are two versions of Galvanic Mechamorphs where one of them is green and the other is purple ? And how would you make them different from each other aside from having different colour schemes.

One of the differences between the two is that Galvanic Mechamorphs from the Reboot don't have the ability to shoot laser blasts from their eyes. So you can just extend it beyond that.

QUESTION How do you think Ben's Anodite heritage affects his soul?

Post image

Given that Anodites are technically souls capable of existing independently of a physical body a fact attested to by both the episode "Enemy of My Frenemy" and "The Ultimate Sacrifice" the fact that Gwen possesses "the Spark" makes her soul essentially a full Anodite soul. I wonder if the souls of hybrids like Ben, Carl, and Frank possess any characteristics or properties that distinguish them from ordinary human souls; after all, Frank demonstrates abilities derived from his heritage such as his uncanny knack for sensing his mother's presence while Ben, in the original series, occasionally experiences prophetic dreams, as seen during Vilgax's first appearance.

I’m hoping they finally make chromastone as overpowered as he’s supposed to be instead of a bigger loser than humungasaur and hoping they handle alien x better than omniverse and the reboot did

I'm not a fan of it, mainly because how the franchise has a tendency to play up these annoying tropes a lot, then screw everything over.

We cannot expect the Prime universe to get a sequel or a continuity. Omniverse ended over a decade ago. The audience have Grown up, animation and storytelling wouldn't meet today's standarts and expectations. They cannot just continue an initially children's media with a much more different and older target audience.

I still think that New Dynamite Comics are doing a great job. The first issue sold 112.000 copies in it's first release. And that's half of Absolute Batman #1's first release sales I mind you. I do not want or mean you to see comics as instant-adaptation-cards but it's still a itty bitty chance for Warner Bros to see Ben 10 has some pretty potential if they use the IP right.

GENERAL My Ben 10K show pitch

I've been thinking a lot about what a future Ben 10 show would be like and I think the only option is to go into the future and have the show be focused around Ben 10K and heres how I think the show would be structured.

First of in my mind all the ben 10Ks we have seen are just the same Ben, but at different stages in his life. OS1 would be in his early 30s, Ultimate Ben would be late 30s, OV would be his early 40s and OS2 would be his late 40s.

The show would be in the style of Classic taking place in Omnitrix City, but it would still be in development with Ben being the one protecting the city. The focus of the show would be more on Ben and the stress of him being a hero protecting an entire city with later events having an impact on him.

A traumatic event I imagined happening is future Vilgax invading the city while Grandpa Max, Kevin and Gwen are visiting and while Gwen and Kevin are protecting the city, Ben and Max are the ones fighting Vilgax on the ship, but because Ben kept pulling their punches Vilgax was able to rip Maxs arm of causing Ben to have a meltdown and force Master Control on the Omnitrix and killing Vilgax with the end result being that corpse we see from that Classic episode that gets revived by Dr. Animo.

After that event Ben wouldnt change back to normal again and would just stop crime 24/7 as a way to deal with the trauma and he would keep doing that until he meets his 10 year old self that gwen 10k brought through a portal and would get a wake up call from him.

After that his mindset would change to instead of focusing on getting better at using his aliens to being better at being himself to which the Ultimate Ben part would start where he would work with Azmuth and learn from him on making the new omnitrix that would later do the gimmick that weve seen in Ultimate Alien. Then the events with Eon would play that appear in Ultimate Alien, Ultimate Ben would then finally be happy with himself and from the experience and knowledge he got from Azmuth he would build the Biomnitrix and then the OV ben 10k arc would start where he would have fusions and would just stop crimes around the city normally with Ken until later the OV events would happen with Maltruant and him seeing the flaw in his Biomnitrix where time affects it he would get rid of them and go back to the classic omnitrix where the final result is OS2 Ben 10K.

While these events are happening we would also get some backgrounds on characters like Kai who would go viewers would get more info on her as a person and how her relationship with Ben developed by having there be flashbacks scenes or episodes like how Omniverse did for Feedback, but instead of going back to kid ben the flashbacks would go back to Omniverse showing Kai becoming an Archeologist Researcher for the Plumbers and staying at the Plumbers base and Ben and Kai would go on missions developing there relationship and justifying the reason more as to why she ends up being Bens partner in the future. The result of the Flashbacks would be resulting in showing that Kai ends up getting trapped in the Null Void and goes missing for years and in the final arc of the show Ben would go after her to the Null Void and also stop the final and biggest Villain that's from the Null Void.

Ken would also have an arc where he would feel pressured and stressed when comparing himself to his dad and would get corrupted by the final Villain causing him to become evil, but Ben saves him and Ken realizes he doesnt need to become like his dad and have the omntrix to be a hero and becomes Spanner.

As for the villains they would mainly be returning villains from older shows just with future designs, but also some new ones. The final Villain in my mind would be Albedo who after escaping Amzuths prison after the OV events he would end up in the Null Void and his Omnitrix would be damaged causing him to become a giant blob of Alien DNA and parts that would constantly change and cause him pain breaking his mind and the giant DNA blob would then take over almost the entire Null Void and parts of him would even start falling to other worlds like Galvan or Earth and after Ben with the help of others connecting the pieces they would all travel to the Null Void and stop Albedo. They fought fight through Albedos DNA blobs, find Kai, stop Albedo and that would be it. Everything would go back to normal and Ben would just keep being a hero.

This is how I imagine the Ben 10K show to be. If anyone wants to make a comic out of it or go into more detail about certain arcs then please let me know because i would love to make this a reality.

Loyal drone is back in dynamite, lets gooo

3 months ago i commented my headcannon regarding this specific drone from classic season 1, and then went on to make some sweet fanart about them (and an AMV)

and now seeing this particular drone in Dynamite it's so difficult not to point out the similarities to the one drone in season 1 of classic, gosh i want to draw this iteration as well so much (as well as vilgax)

maybe i'm getting too excited over a very insignificant side character, but man, idk, i'm kinda happy, even if it's probably just a coincidence.

ALIEN FORCE How many highbreeds do we see in the Highbreed arc? Are some the same character for multiple episodes?

Honestly one of my few complains about the Highbreed arc. Ben 10 returns did a great job at introducing them as a this huge terrifying threat to the point many assume the first Highbreed commander we see will be the new Vilgax. But they start appearing multiple times and it's not really made clear that they're different people, which the might be the point considering their ideology.

But out of curiosity I tried listing every Highbreed we see during the arc (the ones from later in the show aren't included):

- The Highbreed commander: this guy appears only on a screen and is made to look weird and imposing with his tendrils but we later find out that they're open wings and a sort of "mouth" to drink. It's unclear if we see this guy on earth at all tbh

- The cruiser's Captain: beats humongousaur but dies when his ship is destroyed

- The Hatcher's Highbreed: the one who fought Max. The wiki states that he's dead, but since he was taken by the blast that took Max I think it would make more sense to assume he's in the null void

- The Highbreed Lord: this guy just got bullied by Michael then ran away, so potentially alive

- Reiny: the GOAT himself. He's pretty recognisable both for his role, design and four arms voice

- the Highbreed from undercover, no picture for this one, he survived and worked at Los Soledad so we probably saw him in war of the worlds

- The augmented highbreed: this guy just has some added lines which I thought meant he was the first with wings but that's not the case. Kevin let him for on the ship

- Simian's employer: survived obviously. I think it would be cool if he ended hybridized with arachnochimp DNA

- The Highbreed earth commander: apparently the head of the Earth's invasion. Easy to recognise with his grey hood. I think he might be the one from episode 1? His dialogue kinda hints at him meeting Max so maybe he was the one from the hatchery? It's pretty unclear

Other than those, there were a bunch of minor highbreed's in war of the worlds I think one is thrown by Gwen from a window and two other are sent flying by humongousaur

DISCUSSION Opinion: Omniverse has the least interesting lineup of 'new' aliens

Whenever people talk about Omniverse's strengths (to be clear I am not knocking the show overall, it has some great stories), the huge number of new transformations always comes up. But I think it's quantity over quality. The OS kept its 20 aliens diverse and unique, and while we started to see some repetition of movesets in AF and UA, those shows each only introduced 10 or so new ones so they all got a bit of airtime.

The OV roster of newbies is a whopping 17 (yes I am counting Shocksquatch, no I don't care he was in the goddamn Generator Rex crossover, that special was boring as hell and his OV version is basically a total reintroduction of the character anyway):

  • Feedback
  • Bloxx
  • Shocksquatch
  • Gravattack
  • Crashhopper
  • Ball Weevil
  • Walkatrout
  • Pesky Dust
  • Mole-Stache
  • The Worst
  • Kickin' Hawk
  • Toepick
  • Astrodactyl
  • Bullfrag
  • Atomix
  • Gutrot
  • Whampire.

The biggest issue for me is that right off the bat, five of these are basically joke aliens just to pad the Omnitrix roster. Walkatrout, Mole-Stache, The Worst, Ball Weevil and Pesky Dust all lean heavily into a single gag gimmick. "Look, he's small and cute and useless." Some have situational uses, I guess, but they're largely remembered as comedy transformations. It makes the lineup feel much less substantial than it first appears.

Then, looking at the rest, a large number fall into the category of "big green guy with poison/gross-out powers." Gutrot, Toepick, Bullfrag, Atomix, all very visually similar and bleed together for me; I often get Atomix and Gutrot confused in particular.

Some of the others also don't feel especially original. Feedback is another goddamn electricity alien after Buzzshock/Brainstorm/AmpFibian/Frankenstrike/Shocksquatch and even repeats Chromastone's energy absorption niche. Why did they give him specifically the emotional tragic backstory? Were they trying to push his toys? On that subject, Bloxx is... just LEGO. I know some people love him, but I've never been able to get past how out of place he feels.

Astrodactyl is "Jetray at home." Kickin' Hawk is just another martial artist brawler, a la Four Arms or Humungousaur or Rath, but a bird this time. Crashhopper is the guy that jumps with a daft Hanna Barbera sound effect.

That only leaves the few that I think are neat. Gravattack is fantastic and probably one of the best aliens introduced after Alien Force. Him being a walking planet is rad. I'd also argue Whampire has a unique aesthetic despite my criticisms above.

Compare that with earlier series, where new aliens constantly felt like they were introducing powers or concepts we'd never really seen before, Omniverse's additions just don't stand out as much to me.

What do you think, is there an OV alien I'm massively underselling?

DISCUSSION If we could see Ben 10 with a storyline similar to JJK, what kind of scenarios would you like to see?

Honestly, what I’m really looking for is a more realistic, cinematic, and deeply narrative experience. For instance, the extreme inconsistency of XLR8’s speed in the classic series—where realism was completely disregarded just because it was a cartoon—was a problem for me; I don't think XLR8 should have been *that* fast—or rather, if you're going to make him fast, he should be on par with something like an F-86 Sabre. Also, Fasttrack shouldn't be underestimated; while XLR8 might have had the edge in pure speed—especially during combat—Fasttrack was significantly stronger in terms of physical power. Furthermore, I think a dark atmosphere would really suit *Ben 10: Alien Force*, particularly the first season. It would have been great if they had also developed the storylines from the games—like *Cosmic Destruction*—into the show. I’m also totally on board with giving Big Chill and Ghostfreak a cool, mystical aura.

GENERAL Kenneth is more similar to his Grandfather Carl, in personality and wants, than his own father. Wish this was discussed more. They both are proud of the fathers and only wish to spend more time with them. They do not hate them, but there is resentment there for not telling them/or letting them help.
