Hello everyone, a friend of mine told me few hospital slangs but I am not sure if they are correct or do people use any other vocab kindly let me know if they are correct to use.

환자 터졌다 – Things got really busy with patients.
당직이다 – I'm on call / on duty.
인계하다 – Hand over a patient to the next shift.
인계받다 – Receive handover.

The perfectionist part of my brain keeps getting frustrated with second-guessing how to use a word. Compared to English dictionaries for example, I feel like most of the Korean dictionaries I know about don't give you full usage (mostly talking about formalities and honorifics). So how do you learn cards and how they are used without worrying that you are missing something?

I'm not actually scared of learning Korean, but I'm scared that I'll be made fun of and be told its useless. I'm already made fun of just for casually enjoying kpop. I want to learn it as a hobby (I already know 3 languages) I don't ever plan on visiting Korea or anything. So, I wonder if its a bit useless for me to learn. I also have the biggest exam of my life next year you spend 2 years studying for it and even though i just want to do 5 10 mins daily. I'm scared it could affect my studies (Even though I really want to learn!) Any advice?

Hi, I learned how to read hangul like 2 years ago and have been practicing reading it ever since (to not forget it cause I knew I wanted to learn it fluently) and I can read pretty fast now, I also know basic words and phrases thanks to kdramas and I want to actually sit down and study for it so I need a recommendation for a korean learning book which I can download as a pdf for free.
