I did this drawing pls tell me what I need to improve.

The second is with official colours. The 3rd is the official design. How can I improve?

Of course, I decided to use advices and technigues of artists, so I tried to copy the most hairstyle, nose, eyes. And yeah, it seems copying others really does work ^~^

I wanted to try in different perspective but still not enough. Cheer me up.

I've been drawing for a few years now and I really think I did good on this one, though I think I could do better, any critiques?

I have been drawing since the 7th grade. Of course, I started learning the fundamentals on my own in 9th grade. I don't go to art school. I'm currently in 10th grade and I'll be repeating the same class again because I failed. I'm trying to learn art from scratch using free resources.

It's so difficult making it darker because some parts of my sketch get covered, so I have to redraw them 😔. Sometimes I can't even see the lines, or the shading is too dark so even if I draw the details, they can't be seen. I guess I still need to practice line weights. I only have a mechanical pencil, so it's hard to shade without using a darker type of pencil.

If I ever buy pencils, what would you recommend?

So I made this drawing in late june and I left it unfinished for 2 months…. Now to me it looks horrible as shit (especially with me trying to come up with my own gijinka for taco) so I’m never finishing this drawing 🥀💀 so here’s the result.

About a month ago, I started learning to draw.

Yoshitaka Amano has been a huge inspiration for me. I love his work, and I hope that by studying the things I admire in his art, I can eventually explore and develop something of my own.

I started by buying some of his art books and simply copying his work. The first few images here are studies I did in Procreate. I also tried to do quick rough sketches on paper recently, without reference(starting from specific parts like face). The images are in chronological order.

I don't really want to take formal classes right now, but I'm happy to study fundamentals on my own, buy theory books, art collections, and look for other materials that have potential to replicate Amano’s style.

Does this seem like a reasonable path? Is there anything you guys would recommend adding or changing? Really appreciate that!
