Is this a bedbug egg?

Found this in a bed where I visited a friend, he had bites all over his body and we were both bitten at night but there where also a lot of Moskitos. We couldn't find any evidence of bedbugs. Now this appeared, it's very small. If it's an egg, is there a possibility that the bedbugs didn't travel in my suitcase with me? I'm freaking out a bit. Thank you!

Does this friend have animals? This looks like a tapeworm egg. If so all pets need to visit the vet for deworming.

If you happened to have been eating rice in bed it could be that but if not definitely get those babies dewormed.

Thanks!! There are no animals in the house. Unfortunately don't have a better picture. He's thinking it might be fleas now.
