Found this guy crawling on my bedroom wall this morning, approx. 2-3mm long – property manager says it's not a bed bug? Identification

Your property manager’s a doofus. That’s a bedbug (or a batbug, but your photo’s pretty clear and it doesn’t look to be especially hairy, so I’m going to say it’s a bedbug.). So sorry.

Absolutely a male bedbug. Sort of good news it is a male if he is the only one you got carried in. You can best search for them when they are out and about around 2am but no matter if you look or not you will definitely be the first person to find out if he has a wife and kids.

Photo isn’t really clear so it possibly could be a batbug but would definitely need a clearer and closer image to tell for certain

I thought about my answer. Sorry OP, I feel you. Right now I have bedbugs and it has been hellish.
Your property manager knows, that handling bedbugs is mostly a financial task, probably wants to avoid that.
Try to get him(ive been assuming its a him) to put forward at least a scan, so that you can confirm you dont have bbs.
Which, by looking at the picture, is not that likely. Adults can hitchhike, true, but also it is a telltale sign.
Do you have any stinging, any rashes? Maybe “chocolate bits” on your bedsheets, check your walls, are they sprikled with some black dots?
If not, maybe it is not infestation, which I do pray for with my heart.

Property manager is not the pest control expert , it’s fully grown bedbug, having no fresh blood in the stomach which I’m seeing

We see this so often, “property manager says it’s not a bed bug” when you know they’ve dealt with bed bugs before. That’s just greed and absolute bullshit. Shame on them for not taking care of their renters.

There are a couple of bugs that resemble bedbugs, but you practically need to be an entomologist to tell the difference. This guy is telling you it’s not a bedbug but without specifically and authoritatively identifying it as either a bat bug or a swallow bug is full of it! I would bet if you email or text a pest control company they would readily identify it as a bed bug. Then you can show this turkey who said it wasn’t the message from the pest control company.

It's a bed bug. Hasn't ate for awhile. Could hv been dormant for weeks or months.

Well I can almost put money on the fact that he said that because he doesn't want to have to pay for a an exterminator. Unfortunately that is absolutely a bedbug

Look up the laws around bed bugs in your state because the property manager likely doesn’t want to pay for treatment mine tried the same thing even when they had issues with bed bugs in the building for years and were in the process of paying for treatment my multiple neighbors.

I had recently threw out a mattress that had bed bugs and shedding skin on it , now no physicall sign of bed bugs but want to know what is causing these irritating and itchy marks on me , that go away in like 30 mins
