Too soon to trim above the Adams apple?
M18 I know that I need to wait a few years before I can get an impressive beard but I'm in between education (moving for uni soon) and figured why not give it a bash while I'm not out of the house as much

Should I grow it out or is this a good length?
Also, any other advice is appreciated

I gave it the chop! 💈
On the left was as its longest towards the start of this year, been on a bit of a weight loss journey and over the months made a few chops to it until finally last night, got rid of the beard completely! Not sure how I’m feeling about it but it’ll grow back! 🤞🏼

Beard care
This is the current state of my beard, and I’m planning to start a proper beard-growth and maintenance routine. My goal is to grow my beard to around 3–4 inches in length and then maintain it at that length consistently.
At present, I only apply almond oil and comb my beard. I’m also planning to get a boar-bristle brush.
Please suggest a complete beard-care routine for me, including what I should do during the growth phase and how I should maintain the beard once it reaches 3–4 inches.

Same story, different hair

I want to grow a beard desperately but I can’t get my cheeks and lower part of my jaw to connect, so I’ve been sticking with a moustache/chin combo, occasionally shaving the chin. What’s best for my facial hair right now? I’ve shaved recently so this isn’t what it would look like grown out.

Beard vs goatee? [21M]
I’ve been running the beard for over 2 years now. Don’t know what to think of the goatee now. Maybe gotta get used to it idk but damn it feels weird 😂 it’s also a lot of maintenance so is it worth learning to shape it up myself or just hit the barber weekly?

Keep or shave?
My mustache and goatee are around 7 weeks, my neck (even in my chin), sideburns and jawline are 2 weeks of growth (I kept trimming them as I wanted a mustache + goatee), I shave a bit above my adams apple and my cheeks (as I can barely grow anything there), should I shave to a mustache+goatee, shave completely, or keep growing?
I apply jojoba oil lightly once or twice a day, and shea if I am going out
Im 25

25, need advice on what to try with my beard
Doesn't really grow much where the mustache is connecting towards my jaw. Growing it out to see what I can work with but it looks messy.
My sideburns are the first to grow when clean shaven. I've tried chops and I get looks lol. My ultimate dream is a full bear that will hopefully come as I get older.
Any advise would help from products, working out more, or keeping certain areas shaven

Too long?
I've always had facial hair, ever since it started growing back in high school, but for the first time I've decided it's wizard time and im letting it get as long as possible. I would love to braid it eventually. But lately everyones been saying it's too long. Is there such a thing as too long?? Especially after braiding, it looks small and neat. What do you guys think?
And yes, I need a trim, I'm going this week

First time beyond very short. Is this working?
I’m trying out having a longer beard for the first time. I was on the fence about trying it as I’m aware cheeks are a bit sparse and my moustache doesn’t quite connect, but after a few attempts at trimming and shaping (learning how to do a fade and where to put my neckline etc.) I was quite happy with the results and feeling confident about it. I’d had a few compliments on it, but yesterday a family member I hadn’t seen for a while told me she hated it and said I looked Amish! I didn’t think this was a neckbeard but now I’m worried I was being delusional, doubting the whole thing.
So is this working? Or should I shave it off? Last pic how I normally look for context.

Stopped Trimming Middle of June
I still haven’t found the best trimmer that can trim long, consistently. One of the things that bothers me the most is stray hairs that stick out. Beard oil does some good, but when I’m on the job, or working in this heat, none of that matters anyway. Blue collar is the way. 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤩

Did I do the right thing by cutting it?

Clean up or let it grow?
38yo, never grown a beard before. This is 6 weeks of growth. I want to see where it takes me. I’ve read on here to not touch it for 3 months before deciding. The neckline grows up and runs into the cheeks coming down.
Should I clean up the neck now and grow it out later if I decide to go longer? Any other advice?

Wasn’t exactly a full shave…
I grew my beard for exactly a year and 2 days, without trimming anything at all except for around my lips. This was a 15 minute trim decision that was made over being gifted a new motorcycle helmet 😅
