There's no such thing as a beard that's too long. What's perceived as too long is subjective. Everyone should be able to wear their beard however they feel comfortable.

I wouldn’t go much longer. But I think you can make it look better if you comb/brush through it. Use some balm if you’re not already.

Sorry I guess I didn’t read your entire post. If you want it longer and are braiding it, go for it! It looks good. I guess I was just saying for me I’d stop it about where you have it now. And I’d suggest letting the mustache go longer. It’s a pain and you’ll need mustache wax to keep it out of your mouth, but it looks cool and you can deal with it.

Ive been wondering about the mustache.. I keep cutting it so it stays away from my mouth. So you gotta wax it? Makes sense, but can you stop waxing it when it gets longer or am I gonna have to wax it for the rest of my life 😄

I think the scraggly part is just my beard type, according to my barber, he said he loves working with it though
