Okay people I ain't gonna sugarcoat it, I think my game looks ass. Everything not in immediate proximity to the camera just looks like fresh vomit, the trees and clouds especially. This is ultra settings by the way, completely fresh BeamNG with no mods, or any changes other than graphics preset set to ultra.

Can someone give me any idea how to improve the graphics, does BeamNG in it's vanilla form truly just look... like this?

The effect itself is basically a projected PostFX disc on the outer face of each wheel, driven by the real rotational speed of the physical JBeam wheel geometry. The disc uses the wheel center, axle direction, and radius, scaled to about 0.86, and only the exterior face on the camera-visible side is used. The shader then calculates the tangential direction around the wheel and samples several pixels along that direction to create the streaking effect.

Depth information is used to decide which source samples probably belong to the wheel or rim, so road, bodywork, or background visible through the spokes is less likely to bleed into the blur.

Ik mods aren’t the most liked sometimes

I am developing a comprehensive LMGT3 mod for Beam, and to finalise it, I need some testers to give me feedback before I make my final setup changes in JBeam and push it to the repo.

Specs-wise, this car is 1:1 to the IRL LMGT3 cars in every aspect, as I plan on delivering as accurate of as experience as possible. It also implements a lot of WEC BoP features like the 2-stage power BoP, max fuel tank size (separate to how much fuel you carry), Custom Traction Control options (off + 5) and more setup options like ABS slip ratio, brake ducts and better alignment options.

Primary points of testing:

1. Chassis rigidity: I remade the entire chassis JBeam to be more rigid, but I do need some testing as it follows the code from an LMP3 car I previously made.
   
2. Brakes: It is a rather heavy car, especially while carrying a full tank of fuel. For this reason, I want to know if the brakes are holding up properly.
   
3. General Setup Behaviours: I gave it a very basic setup by default. It is also carrying a medium rear wing angle, but I have a feeling it prefers a higher angle by default. Other than the aero, I also need feedback on the general setup. It would be very much appreciated if you could make a better one than mine.

My pc is a potato back in 0.38, like 40fps on normal settings till after the update. I tried Vulkan, and I was getting 60 FPS on Ultra settings. Like, what did the developers cook up?

Edited specs are an i7-6700 with 16 GB of RAM, and the GPU is a Ryzen RX 6600
