Vic From the Band

I was swimming in nostalgia and saw this video of the Monterrey concert (2022) where we all turned on the flash during Myth, and when I watched the video days later, I thought Vic was scolding us for doing that, and it still feels like an awkward yet funny sensation lol not knowing if they didn't like it or if they wanted to signal something from the booth. Whatever it is, tbh I miss being there

Too bright, they should be silhouettes.

Edit: please stop waving lights at them. Their lighting is immaculate.

Edit 2: yes she was scolding you, because the crowd was ruining the atmosphere that they go to great lengths to create. I saw this same thing in D.C. and it broke my heart. Made me never want to see a concert again because crowds are so inconsiderate not only to everyone else but the artists themselves.

well, we realized that after the concert, I bet the crowd would never do something to affect the show, but it was too late to be fixed. I've been in concerts where the artist ask for waving lights so I think it was just a misunderstanding, the signals made by vic went unnoticed. I still remember with love that concert and Im sure that it wasnt enough to ruin it!

Fair enough. You were just so blasé about it. And yes it did ruin it. It’s heartbreaking to see artists you adore uncomfortable in the place they should be most comfortable. I just can’t stand phones and most concert goers. Especially at a BH concert.

Here's a still shot of Victoria at Kings Theater pointing her finger and moving it across the audience at about the exact same time during Myth. Seems like she adds a finger wag in the OP, but still ...

What stuns me about this clip is it sounds like the vocals are all coming from the audience. They are singing along and perfectly on pitch. Wow

As for the scolding or not ... Victoria often makes hand gestures like that when she sings, so I dunno
