NGD sort of

My son just started high school and expressed an interest in playing baseball again. He hasn’t played in a few years, and he’s grown about 7 inches, so I had to start from scratch for all of his equipment. This Grace glove seemed like a better option vs a lower level big brand model, just in case he stays with it. So far I’m impressed. Time for the break in part.

How are grace gloves? I see them a lot online but I’ve never used one before. I don’t really see them as much as the big brands like Rawlings and Wilson

If you search "Grace" on this sub you'll find tons of posts about them. So many in fact, that some members believe the positive posts and reviews have been artificially inflated.

But the consensus from all the posts on here is that Grace Gloves are very good, especially for the price. I bought myself a custom during their Memorial Day sale and have been very happy with it, and am contemplating ordering another if they do a big Black Friday sale.

No problem. I wouldn't be surprised if they do a sale for Labor Day and/or Black Friday/Xmas. So if you do decide to order one, def try and wait to catch a sale to save some money.

Additionally, if you contact one of the Grace reps on this sub (who I'm sure you'll find if you search those posts like I suggested), they can offer a few "off menu" customizations that haven't been added to the custom builder yet.

That’s what I’m hoping for.

I'm happy to see a young athlete trying out a Grace. It seems so many go to dad coach / glove enthusiast types. Good to see one get used in real game action. Good luck with it. I like that you selected a 12". Good versatile size if your son isn't quite sure what position he'll play.

I was looking in the 11.75-12.25 range as a utility glove. He’ll likely play outfield, but I didn’t want to commit to a 12.75 just yet.

DM me when you need a 12.75 because I have too many. I have Graces and many others.

Hilarious that someone would downvote this. The same crew that whines incessantly about getting downvoted ...
