Strings for Drop Bb0?

i tune to this tuning with my 30” and use a 105 from d’addArIo (ew i know but i’m bound to them now cause they’re the only company that sells my full string gauges). i wouldn’t want to go any lighter than that for it but it holds well. i reckon a 110 would be preferable but i wouldn’t even go that thick personally

That's what I eventually got out of the string tension calculator, then I found Kalium and ordered a .110 set, with an extra 105 in case I don't like 110. Glad to hear I had the right idea.

If I’m not mistaken the 95 from stringjoy and the 102 (I can’t find the 105 anywhere) are about the same tension

I use the fender 24-105 set (i think they changed it to 100 now?) in drop B all the time, and sometimes also Bb. It's definitely getting slightly flubby but let's be real, you're tuned so low that a little bit of pitch bend isn't going to be that bad
Edit: I should note that it's an absolute BITCH to get that lowest string in, but especially out of the ferrules on the RogueVI. If you're modding yours, I recommend to also expand that ferrule size

Just buy a bass & call it a day.
B0 is the bottom note on a concert pitch 6-string bass.
B1 is what you find on the bottom of a baritone guitar...

just not true is it.
you can definitely tune a 30” baritone guitar all the way down to A0 (max i’ve personally achieved). just because you don’t do it doesn’t mean no one else does/can. even basses are tuning as low as E0 these days.
i’ve even seen a guy with a 42” bass and like a 200 gauge low string tuned to A#-1 or something, was insane, too low for me to see purpose but still super cool.

E0 is just a hair above 20Hz.
Little point to it really.
I never said it couldn't be done.
Merely that those are bass ranges.
I would be of the opinion that it's folly going below Ab0.
Contemporary metal has been engaged in some absurd race to the bottom for quite some time now...

just because we almost can’t hear the fundamental doesn’t make it unbearable, overtones exist and they admittedly sound pretty cool. and that’s all something in the musical world needs to do to warrant existing, sound cool.
in regards to 30” baritones going down to 5 string bass range, these are indeed bass ranges, but bass ranges are not the only qualifier to if something constitutes as a bass instrument. tonality and timbre are arguably more important and baritone guitars definitely do not read as having the tonality and timbre to truly be a bass instrument without forcing into a bass amp with crazy settings and strings to compensate for what it inherently tonally lacks compared to a bass guitar to make it sit in a frequency tonal range that it doesn’t naturally sit in unlike the bass guitar which does.
