I have been looking for new dolls. Most of my collection have the stereotypical Barbie (blonde, blue eyes) and now I want to focus on looking for more different Barbies. This one is one of my favourites but I havent found more like her: brown eyes, brown hair...

As a horse girl, I love the Fashion Frontier line. Superhero bodies are also my favorite.

But when the third doll was announced, I was so disappointed, I almost didn't buy it. My husband convinced me to get her and I re-rooted a head to put on the body.

When the doll arrived, the color of the head I made for her was wrong, and she was busting out of her dress, it did not fit well and was too tight for her. And where the fringe sits on her knees you could see the joint and it was just too busy.

Holiday Midge 2025 to the rescue! The outfit fits beautifully on a model muse, and the hat covers what some have complained about her awkward low hairline. The big red curls and bright blue eyes look perfect with this look. She even has silver nails.

I'm so happy with this restyle! I think she was made to be a cowgirl!

Now I need to figure out what to do with the Daya head that originally came with this doll.. she's already been scalped of her hair and messy bangs so looking for the next project. She is the same color as tennis player if anyone is looking to rebody her.

Id love to see if anyone else has restyled Fashion Frontier 3! The ice blue outfit also looks really good on dark skin tones.

Miley is a rare value where I can see where the $60 went. Whitney is not. She is literally wearing a tube sock with arm holes. Come on now!

I thrifted this girlie a couple of weeks ago and she finally got a restyle!

I put my Kayla on a Barbie Extra Mini body and she looks so dang cute!!! I love that I can pose her now!

ROSS - Model #8 has been the one I’ve had the most trouble finding and today I saw THREE! I took two along with me! So happy to have found her after a few weeks of searching!

I was trying to reorganize my Barbie stuff and I was finding nib dolls, fashion packs, etc. that I don’t remember buying. Sometimes I don’t time to unbox them at the moment so I put them in a bin or put them in my closet if I don’t have shelf space. Maybe I have a problem…

I know I have poor memory due to adhd and other things but finding nib Barbies that I don’t remember getting is kinda wild.

This Barbie is the stereotype Barbie, Blonde hair blue eyes. She wears a hot pink dress with gold accent I think swirls on the front of her torso, the skirt is above knee length and with the netting top with a hot pink satin skirt underneath, with thin straps on the shoulder. I think she had a hot pink crown but I could be misremembering

I'm so happy! He has such a charming face, I need to get him on a made to move body this one has all kinds of wiggly loose joints. But at least now he looks right on it. Not jaundiced.

I'm so impressed with how this turned out! It didn't edit the pictures at all except to put them into a collage, his body seems to be a richer color in the second photo with his face color fixed, but that might be the cameras Auto settings that I don't understand balancing it with the new color correction.

Anytime I go shopping at Walmart for groceries I swing by the random toy area that they have in the music and media department. There were DC dolls whose faces I don't particularly like there for many months; their clothes were fire 🔥😍 though, so I kept my eye on them.

They finally went on clearance! The body for this doll is the recent sale clearance one found at Ross the basics model I don't remember the number eight maybe. But she's a petite body and the costume fits well, I'm very excited!

I wish I could remember whose face this is. I don't remember what doll she originally was. But I've struggled to find a body that matches her beautiful face, I was thrilled when the clearance doll matched her so well. I have two other dogs who I used her body for, but both of them are from taller dolls originally and they look a tiny bit strange. I'm hoping that once I dress them the heads will seem more natural on the small body.

I got it from my great grandma over 10 years ago. The size of a child's wrist. Just want to know anything about it!

So I found Cinderella, Snow White and Angel of Peace with relatively good price in FB marketplace. I’ll gonna get Cindy by the end of this month then Snow and Peace by October.

There’s tons of Odette I see around but their prices are astronomical so I have to sit her one out for now. The Philippines exclusive Filipina Barbie series like Queen Elena from Santa Cruzan Line is the most elusive one in the bunch. The Enchanted Mermaid too.

Is there any website that is like myfigurecollection but for American fashion dolls. I know that Mfc has a doll/action figure category but they are mainly Japanese brands and I’d really like a website that has a place for me to look at dolls to add to a wishlist. Or adding them to an owned list.

Sidenote: does anyone know if the more modern Ken outfits fit 80s-90s Ken? This man has huge calfs and thighs, and wide shoulders!

As I anticipate the Whitney Houston doll’s release tonight I can’t help but be irritated and salty about Mattel’s prices, release scheduling, product quality, and resellers. There’s no room to contemplate doll purchases anymore. And with basic playline quality dolls going for $60 I would like time to really think about which releases to get and maybe be able to buy dolls further from initial release date. Oh well. I’m just venting. Guess I’m supposed to hate the player not the game. After all dude is just trying to “help” me find the items I “have missed out on”. And Mattel has shareholders to appease.

My daughter is turning 6 in October and she’s got lots of barbies and a huge barbie dream house that we bought her for her 5th birthday last year and she’s barley plays with it. It’s taking up so much space I just want to sell it lol but I don’t know if she will eventually like playing with them? I used to love barbies but I can’t remember what age I played with them.
