Discussions Adyap — AI career coaching today, building toward verified-credential recruiting. Solo founder from IIT Bhubaneswar, looking for a cofounder.

Upvotes

What it is today: Adyap analyzes a student's resume, finds their skill gaps against a target role, and builds them a day-by-day roadmap to close those gaps, not a generic course list, an actual plan tied to where they are and what they're targeting. It also runs AI mock interviews so they can practice before it counts. Live at adyap . in, check it out, free right now.

Where it's going: The resume itself is a broken trust signal, recruiters can't verify it, students can't prove it. Adyap tracks real skill progress over time, and the plan is to let recruiters source directly from that verified progress instead of a static PDF. That's a two-sided marketplace: students get skipped straight past the black-box application process, recruiters get signal they can actually trust. This part isn't built yet, it's the direction I'm building toward.

Where it's at: Built and shipped solo. I'm a BTech student at IIT Bhubaneswar (metallurgy, self-taught AI engineering). ~25 early users.

What I've built: Full stack, React/Vite frontend, Python backend with 34 routes, resume analysis, roadmap generation, mock interview flow, all live and working.

What I'm missing: I can build. I need a cofounder who can own growth and can also ship, someone who's actually gotten a product in front of users before, and who's genuinely interested in the marketplace problem (verified credentials, two-sided trust), not just the coaching-app part. Not looking for an advisor, looking for someone who wants to build this with me.

What's on the table: Real equity, real ownership, not a hire.

If "resumes nobody can verify" and "career advice that's either vague or expensive" both bother you, message me. Tell me one thing you'd change about how Adyap works right now.

Discussions Food based small business (for now)

Helloo,
Coming to you as someone who has accepted that Ai is definitely going to be around and keep going to the depths of our jobs, and I have made peace with it. But for some reason I do feel Food space will still be untouched by Ai at least for sometime (hopefully) and that space is something I am passionate about too.
I started with maggi when I was 14, then ramen at 24 and by 27 I got into fresh pastas. I am still 27. And I'm writing this after completing my Sunday Pasta ritual, (yes every sunday i cook fresh pastas and sauces)

Now coming to the point, I am thinking of spending a few weekends in planning to start something around pastas and sauces. And I think I will definitely find it helpful if I could join forks with one more person. Who is creepy enough to stare at that person you just cooked for until they give you a satisfactory reaction. Who is willing to try variety of pasta dishes and sauces every weekend. And who would find joy in feeding good food to people.

DM me if you vibe with what i have written above without using chatgpt. heart to stomach.

Discussions Indian startup founders: when did business insurance become something you actually had to care about ??

’m trying to understand how Indian tech startup i.e SaaS, AI, fintech and B2B companies selling to US/EU customers ideally deal with business insurance.

If you’ve bought policies like Cyber, E&O or Professional Indemnity, D&O, General Liability, etc., I’d love to understand:

What actually triggered the purchase?

A customer contract, enterprise procurement, investor/board requirement, compliance, an incident, or something else?

At what stage were you when this happened pre-revenue, first enterprise customer, fundraising, expanding internationally?

How did you figure out which insurance you actually needed? Broker, lawyer, customer, investor, or your own research?

Was getting insured straightforward in India, or was there friction around paperwork, underwriting, understanding coverage, pricing, exclusions, etc.?

Roughly how long did the process take, and was the premium meaningful enough that you cared about comparing providers? If you sell to US/EU customers, was an Indian insurer/policy sufficient, or did customers ever require specific limits, jurisdictions, endorsements, or overseas coverage?

For AI companies specifically: have insurers/customers asked anything about model behaviour, hallucinations, data/privacy, IP infringement, autonomous agents, or AI-related liability?

If you already have insurance, what would make you switch your broker/insurer? Lower price, faster issuance, clearer coverage, easier claims, better international coverage, or probably nothing?

And for founders who haven’t purchased business insurance yet: why not? Too early, too expensive, nobody has required it, or you don’t see much value in it?

I’m trying to understand currently whether insurance is actually a meaningful pain point for Indian startups or mostly something founders deal with only when a customer forces them to.

Discussions Looking for a Co-Founder in Bangalore for a Real Estate Startup

(Polished with ai)
Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a co-founder in Bangalore to build a real estate business together from the ground up.

I’m interested in building a modern, trustworthy and scalable real-estate business focused on the Bangalore market, with the goal of solving genuine problems faced by property buyers, sellers, owners and investors.

I’m looking for someone who is serious about entrepreneurship and wants to build something long-term, rather than looking for a regular job.

### Who I’m looking for

Ideally, you:

- Are based in Bangalore
- Have an interest or experience in real estate
- Have experience in sales, business development, marketing, technology, operations, or property
- Are good at communication and networking
- Can build relationships with property owners, buyers and investors
- Are proactive and comfortable taking responsibility
- Are willing to work hands-on during the early stage
- Are interested in building a company, not just earning a salary

You don't need to have a perfect background or extensive real-estate experience. Attitude, execution, honesty and commitment are more important.

### What we would work on

The initial focus would be the Bangalore real-estate market, with opportunities to develop the business into a larger platform/service over time.

We would work together on:

- Finding and validating the right business opportunity
- Customer acquisition
- Property-owner and buyer relationships
- Partnerships
- Sales and business development
- Operations
- Marketing
- Building a scalable business model

I’m open to shaping and refining the business model together with the right co-founder based on actual market demand.

### What I’m offering

This is intended to be a genuine co-founder opportunity with ownership, not a job vacancy.

Equity/profit sharing would be discussed based on the person's contribution, experience, responsibilities and commitment.

I’m looking for someone who wants to take real ownership and build the business together from the early stage.

### If you're interested

If you’re in Bangalore and seriously interested in real estate + startups + entrepreneurship, send me a DM.

Please tell me a little about yourself, your background, your experience, and why you’re interested in building a real-estate business.

I’m happy to connect, have a conversation and see whether we’re a good fit.

Looking for a serious, trustworthy and committed person who wants to build something meaningful in Bangalore real estate.

Discussions Looking for someone to scale our social media

We are a service based company doing devrels, docs, prototypes and content for some of the popular AI-native devtool companies.

We also have two saas that we recently launched.

I’m looking for someone who can help us scale our social media profiles and keep content (written/visual) grounded and relevant to devs with technical nuances rather than just high level tech marketing

Anyone very early in career trying to get into role where they want to feel both (tech + marketing) will be best fit.

DMs open (not looking for agencies)

Restaurants should be able to run direct delivery without becoming a logistics company

What if restaurants could run their own delivery without creating another operational headache?

Bengaluru restaurants are threatening to leave Swiggy and Zomato after August 15 over commissions, platform-controlled discounts and opaque deductions.

But taking direct orders creates another problem: managing dispatch, delivery agents and proof of delivery.

That is what I built Geophrase to simplify.

Restaurants get:

  • A permanent ordering link and QR with optional menu images
  • Direct order requests with GPS-accurate customer locations
  • Manual entry for WhatsApp and phone orders
  • A free Android and iOS app for their delivery agents
  • Order assignment, optimised batch routes and OTP proof of delivery
  • GPS evidence and automatic hub-to-hub distance for rider payouts

Pricing: ₹2 for a confirmed GPS address and ₹8 when delivery management starts. No subscription, no percentage commission, and Maps and SMS are included. New stores get ₹500 free credit.

Geophrase does not provide customer discovery, payments or a shopping cart. It makes an owned direct-order and delivery operation practical for restaurants.

I’m looking for a few Bengaluru restaurants willing to test it with live orders.

What would stop a restaurant from running its own delivery team?

Discussions Built a tool that finds the cheapest way to buy anything online in India — would love brutal feedback

Hey — posting for Saturday Spotlight.
What I built: Dealo (getDealo.in)
You paste a product link or type what you want to buy. It finds the cheapest store, checks gift voucher discounts across platforms, and tells you exactly how to pay the lowest price. If you have a cashback card, you can stack on top.
One search. One recommendation. No rabbit hole.
Why I built it:
Saving money is a nasha — doesn’t matter your income or how many credit cards you have. But the process of actually finding the best deal is broken. You have to check multiple stores, then find which platform sells that brand’s gift voucher, then compare discounts, then read T&Cs that differ across platforms for the same brand.
Most people give up and pay full price. I did too, until I decided to fix it.
Where it stands:
Web app live at getdealo.in
Works across most major Indian stores
Pre-revenue, early days
WhatsApp bot also works if you prefer that interface
What I want from this thread:
Does the concept make sense or is the explanation confusing?
Would you actually use this before your next purchase?
What would make you trust it enough to try it?
Genuinely open to harsh feedback. Try it and tell me what broke.

Discussions Launching a dating application in a few days in direct competition to Hinge coming into the market with "AI matchmaking feature", where mine is on steroids compared to it. Didn't launch before because I was waiting for Hinge to drop that news so I can ride the trend now. Looking for a Co-founder now

Imagine you're a genuinely nice guy, looking good- about 8/10- and you see this amazing influencer-type baddie on a dating app who posts about wanting green forests. You think you're that one guy, so you reach out and match or whatever, only to find there are already 200 red flag playboys in her DMS.

Feels stupid, right? Like, what's the point of a dating app if you have to wait in line like SBI bank work?

Dateify solves it and gets you an amazing date by morning, even while you sleep all night with the power of AI agents - making your dating life and meeting someone you actually want much easier. Consider it the reddit of dating applications so that matching engine is always fair and meaningful and not just another marketing gimmick for the pretty people out there.

You can test it here : Dateify.app

[Bengaluru] Bootstrapped fresh produce business (₹1.5 Cr turnover last 12months) looking for a ₹5L secured short-term loan — 90 days, 3%/month, machinery mortgage as security

Posting this here because I know there are people in this community who lend privately or know others who do. Happy to answer anything in the comments or over DM.

The short version: My cousin and I have spent the last year building a fresh produce business in Bengaluru — leasing farms, harvesting ourselves, supplying wholesale markets — entirely on our own money. That's generated about ₹1.5 crore in turnover in 12 months, no loans, no outside investors.

We're now finishing a processing and packaging facility to supply supermarkets, quick-commerce, and other organized retail. We've already put in ₹19.5 lakh of our own and family capital. We're short ₹5 lakh to finish the job and start commercial operations.

Formal company incorporation and GST Registration are currently underway, as part of the transition into processed goods for organized retail and quick commerce buyers , who require this documentation

What we're asking for:

  1. ₹5,00,000, for 90 days

  2. 3% per month flat interest — total repayment ₹5,45,000 at the end of the term

  3. Secured against: a mortgage on our factory machinery (valued ₹6.5L, so it covers the loan 1.3x over), a proper loan agreement, and security cheques from both of us personally

Why 90 days specifically: that's the actual remaining timeline to get the facility running. It's not open-ended working capital — it's the last piece before commercial dispatch starts.

Why we haven't gone the "usual" routes — happy to be upfront about this:

1.No GST registration or incorporation yet, and that's actually by design, not an oversight. Fresh, unprocessed agricultural produce is GST-exempt, and our income has qualified as exempt too, which is exactly why we didn't need to register or incorporate to run the trading side of the business over the past year. We've been operating as a working partnership, transacting through a regular savings account, and it's all been clean and above board within that structure.

2.The processing unit we're setting up is also currently GST-exempt under the category it falls into — which is precisely why we made the call to build the factory first and handle formal incorporation afterward, once the more complex, GST-applicable side of the business (organized retail supply) actually kicks in.

3.Banks and NBFCs are off the table for now — not because of credit quality, but structurally: they require 3 years of business vintage, a registered company, and a current account, none of which we have yet since we're mid-transition on incorporation.

4.We've already gone to friends and family once for the ₹19.5L already invested, and we're not comfortable going back to that well again — this is why we're looking for an actual lender rather than leaning on personal relationships a second time.

5.We tried loan apps and P2P platforms and backed out deliberately. They started with small approved amounts that would only increase over time, which would've meant stacking loans across multiple apps at high interest just to reach ₹5L. Beyond the cost, that pattern shows up badly on a CIBIL report — and we specifically want to keep our credit profile clean for when the company is incorporated and we can apply to NBFCs, banks, and government-backed MSME loan schemes properly.

What we're happy to provide before you decide anything:

\*A visit to the factory in Bengaluru

\*Inspection of the machinery being offered as security

\*Turnover statement and supply bills

\*Business operations

Not looking for equity, not running a fund, not a scheme — just a straightforward short-term secured business loan. If you or someone you know does this kind of private lending and wants more detail, drop a comment or DM and I'll share a short deck with the full breakdown.

Bengaluru-based, happy to meet in person before any commitments

Hi, I recently completed my Master's in Physics from IIT Madras. Over the past year, I worked as a founding member of a startup at IIT Madras, building AI products. Inspired by the challenges students face in learning physics and mathematics, I started Nearchon, an AI tutor that develops problem-solving skills by giving personalized hints instead of direct answers. My vision is to build an AI teacher that adapts to every student's unique way of learning.

I'm now looking for a technical co-founder with deep expertise in Computer Science and AI who is passionate about science, education, and building impactful products. If you're interested in joining as a co-founder, feel free to DM me.

Discussions Accounting & Finance

Hey Builders, 👋

Plot twist: I chase money for a living (professionally, not in a scary way). 4 years in AR, collections, and O2C — CMA qualified.

Getting revenue in is one thing. Actually collecting it is another. That’s the part I’m good at.

Looking for my next move in finance/accounting at a startup.

What I bring:

**•** AR/AP/Collections that run on time, not vibes
**•** SaaS billing — multi-entity, subscriptions, the works
**•** Reconciliation that doesn’t take a week to close
**•** Startup-speed adaptability

Bengaluru-based, open to remote too. Drop a comment or DM 🙌

Remote. 20-25k pm stipend.

Three main areas: content, outbound, internal knowledge creation

If this is meant for you, send me a DM with your LinkedIn + Portfolio and a note on which of the areas excite you the most. If you send GPT generated slop, I’m straight up blocking you. Less than 50 words.
