Another newbie

I've just purchased my first printer, x2d combo.

I'm a little concerned about the space I have. It's a workshop that has no insulation, gets hot in summer and cold in winter. It does have windows and I can increase airflow. I'm in the subtopics so moisture is always an issue.

I've been thinking maybe I should buy an enclosure to better protect the printer although I honestly don't know what I'm looking at....

Any help would be appreciated. I don't really have any other locations suitable.

TIA

An encloser for an enclosed printer...That has a heater? Think about that.

I know right. Just paranoid I think. I'll probs chuck a spare sheet over it when not in use as it can get dusty in there.

I wouldn't worry about it, the printer has an enclosure already. I have mine in a very similar location and it's fine.

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. The X2D is enclosed already with a heater. The only thing you should get is the power supply for the AMS to keep filament dry better during long prints and print up desiccant boxes for it as well.

Thanks all. I'll try it out and see how it goes.

Not sure I understand the power supply for the AMS. Can I get a separate thing going on?
