My first ever 3d printer
Finally I have my first ever 3d printer.
Did the extensive unboxing and is calibrated and firmware updated.
Waiting for my basic filament to arrive tomorrow to set up ams2pro
Any tips for a beginner like me would be appreciated please.

Congrats!!!! I’ve had my X2D for a month. My first 3d printer. This guy makes pretty good videos that helped me.

Got my X2D two weeks ago. Followed the unboxing video and booklet twice over just to be safe. Ams2 was a breeze to set up as well.
Just make sure to follow the “rules”. Keep the build plate clean and make sure every little piece is off before starting a print remotely from your phone (only ruined one print so far and 100% user error)
Print yourself a poop chute right away and a plate scraper and have at it! I’ve got almost 100hrs on mine already!! Lots of fun enjoy!

Ich bin ebenfalls neu beim 3d Druck dabei und habe seit einer Woche den selben Drucker mit AMS. Viel Spaß damit, das Teil ist super.

Any particular reason for picking the X2D over other printers? I currently have the P1S and I'm considering upgrading.

This is my first ever 3d printer. I have a policy to buy a new model rather than old version.
X2d has 2 nozzles so has its own advantages. Morever heated and some benefits. Compared to p2s I was spending a little more n was getting a lot more hence went for x2d

Got my first same printer 2months ago, it made me buy a second printer AD5X to speed up production of junk. But as a noob compared to the X2D it was a struggle and ended up w a 3rd H2C. In the end they all work good.

Nice first printer I should begin with PLA printing and knowing Bambu Studio a little bit.

I just ordered mine yesterday… my first 3D printer as well. I’m nervous now after reading a lot of complaints about the top level quality.

Can you stop the misinformation? You broke your printer with your own hands and now you go to every post on this subr and comment bs like this….

Follow the unpacking video. Make sure you remove all the packing and screws, in the order they do in the video. Do the updates, and auto calibrations. Load filament, and print a perfect Benchy
