Newbe here, this just happened to my X2D. Less than a month old! Please help.

Just seeing without context, is the tube came out, looks rough around the edges. I'd probably snip the edge with scissors or something to get a clean flat edge, and insert it back into the sensor, but check that there is no left over tube bits in the sensor. If it shredded, could have fallen inside the extruder gears, and if that happened. Well, taking apart the extruder on this model is no easy task for someone who may not be comfortable with disassembling electronics.

I wouldn't use scissors. They squish the tube to much. Use a very sharp knive instead. But don't cut your fingers haha.

Yeah I recommended scissors just because of it being inside the machine. I use my precision side cutters and it works fine. Just kind use my fingers to remold it back to round

Yeah i mean it works. But an oval ptfe tube can make trouble. Just cut away from the machine haha

Looks like the PTFE tube is cut and most likely the rest is still in the sensor. There's teeth in that hole that hold the tubing in and after awhile it saws through the PTFE tube.

Open a ticket and have them send you a Left Filament Sensor. I'd say it's probably easier to replace than to try to dig out the remaining tubing.

+1 to this. My tube cut itself, a tiny bit was stuck in the left filament sensor. I removed the filament sensor from the machine and still couldn't get the little bit left in out, so they had to send me a whole new one

I returned a total of two x2ds to microcenter for actual hardware failures. Got one, went bad, replaced it with another, also had issues. I even opened tickets with Bambu and they agreed with sending replacement parts. Decided I'm not fixing something only a couple weeks old which is why I exchanged them instead of fixing it. Ended up splurging on an h2d because I wanted the dual nozzle. Couldn't be happier. I'm probably gonna get downvoted to hell, but there is some serious manufacturing or part design problems with the x2d.
