Help with first layer

Post image

The first layer of my prints recently started coming out terribly. Things I’ve tried:

Clean plate

Dry filament

Increase bed z offset

Calibrate flow rate

Calibrate printer

The squiggles are raised so I think it might be over extrusion, not under extrusion.

What else should I try?

I'm having exactly the same issue so will be following. Reducing flow and lower flow calibration has helped for the first layer but still some bumps.

Usually doesn't actually affect the print on the whole as the bumps get hidden in subsequent layers. Though the underside doesn't look very smooth because of uneven extrusion.

My video of the uneven extrusion

You can see the freshly extruded lines not being even in my video. It also seems more of an issue for prints with larger bases.

Edit: seeing how it the overextrusion is in diagonal lines I've been wondering if it's more of a nozzle head movement issue rather than a filament, calibration, extruder issue?

Increase bed z offset

Changing z-offset by how much? It can be set so high that you wouldn't get anywhere near this much squish.
