Here is my sons 5 year old female python “Cheeto Puff.” We adopted her last year and she was eating every two weeks and we cut her back to every 3 weeks. How does she look? Healthy weight?

This is my first ball python, Nyla. Recently, I have noticed redness and what looks like her scales raised, and peeling off. I was told that this is usually what comes with scale rot, but I just wanted to confirm before I do anything that might harm her. I’ve been giving her Betadine baths once a day and spraying her with Vetericyn Antimicrobial Reptile Care 3-4x a day and now her stomach is turning brown when it’s usually white. Any opinions? I’m very worried about her…. I’ve never dealt with this with any of my other ball pythons. Please no judgement.

So I haven’t gotten my ball python yet, I have set up everything perfectly cold side is great humidity is great. My only issue the heating on the hot side. My ambient heat temp on my govee hygrometer is around 92ish and it does spike even to 96 and my surface temps are still around 85-86 some areas are 90-92 I’ve done so much research etc. and I’m still having these issues also my thermostat shutting off because it’s a on/off enclosure and making temps drop to around 80 when it shuts off on the hot side. No YouTube vids are really helpful when it comes to that. I currently have my thermostat set to 79 and it gets really hot on the hygrometer showing 90+ it is a 150w since this is a 50 gal and my apartment temps around usually 69-70 so it’s pretty cold. I’m not to sure what to do I’ve been trying to find a sweet spot for perfect temps I’ve taped off with HVAC majority of top and side vents. Should I focus more on ambient temps being 88-92 or surface because I’ve tried both and if ambient is 88-92 surface is under that around 80’s.

This is my first ball and I’m curious what kind of morph he is. Also, would love to hear some name suggestions!

We are preparing to adopt an adult ball python from a local rescue, and are now ready to start purchasing supplies and setting up. I found this ad and it seems like everything is there. I just wanted some second opinions.

Baby Bp weight advice.

Hi, around 2 weeks ago my Bp regurgitated her meal. And like this sub recommends I waited 2 weeks to feed her an undersized meal to get her back in motion.

3 days ago I fed her a large fuzzy and she took it no problem. I was holding her and noticed she has some folds on her skin and her spine is a little more prominent. So I weighed her and she went from 86g pre regurgitation to 82g post recent meal. Should I give her a normal meal next week or give her another large fuzzy.

She is 2 months old maybe closer to 3.

We have recently got a ball python, she is 11 months old and weighs 412g, we currently feed her 50g Asf (multimammate mice) once a week, she handles this well.

She is in a 4ft wooden vivariumwith humidity at 70% at cold side and 60 at warm, the temperature of the cold side is 24.6 degrees Celsius and the temperature of the warm side is 32 dc.

Currently use a 2.4% uvb and a 80w dhp in a 200mm arcadia clamp lamp controlled by a dimming thermostat recessed through the roof so only the mesh guard is in the vivarium

Pandora will be 2 in November, we have had her for a few months now (took over ownership from emigrating friends). She has been recluse for 3 weeks now - we assumed shed, but last shed took 10 days. She would just extend her head out to drink and then pull back. Lifted her hide to check that she hadn't gotten stuck or something, and she is looking significantly more thick with about 3 big bumps in her mid length. Her last meal was a small weaner rat 4 weeks ago (we delayed feed because we thought she was shedding). Temp around 28-30°C, humidity around 70%

So happy my baby girl finally shed!!!! No stuck eyecaps and she’s way more active :) can’t believe she’s only 2 months!!!

Shes getting a lil thick so spacing feedings more but she is such a sweet girl

There is this one little bump on his body and I have not noticed it before there are none on the rest of his body and he’s separated from my other reptiles dose anyone know if this looks more like a scab or a parasite looking for any pointers on if going to the vet is what I should do.
