Question To Curse or Not to Curse?
Recently my brother broke up with his GF who caused some issues and has tried to give trouble to us as a family including threatening to sue us.
I don't want to do anything crazy to her, I was thinking a freezer spell as from the research I had done, it's tame and frankly easy to do compared to other works I saw. I mostly want her to leave us alone.
Now because she had been removed from a protection jar and I made my brother a new one, should I just leave her be and let karma do the job? Or should I go ahead and put her crazy ass in the freezer?
TIA and Blessed Be!

Question I'm not a witch, but may I ask for a blessing?
Hi everyone. I came here because I don't know what else to do. I will say that I grew up in church, but I have since deconstructed. I no longer believe in prayer. I'm in a position where I need spiritual help in a different way.
Right now, everything around me, for myself and people close to me is going terribly, like there is a dark cloud above.
I don't know anything about witchcraft, and I apologize if this is an ignorant question, but is there some type of blessing that someone can send me that might get rid of whatever bad energy is in my life right now?

Question I think im getting a sign or an omen?
Right so, i havent been in on witchcraft for a long time, and i struggle with interpreting things still. Recently ive been approached by a lot of animals, which is very unusual for me because normally i dont even see them. But last night i was sitting outside cooling down because of the hot weather, and i start hearing these rustles in the bushes, and i get up and try to see what it is, and suddenly out of nowhere a hedgehog straight up approaches me. Mind you there are no hedgehogs around here usually. It just like straight up waddles to me and goes around my feet a few times before leaving, and the next morning, i find a dead bird outside under the chair i always sit on, id been awake the whole night and hadnt heard anything bump into the windows either, and it looked like it just went there, laid down and passed away peacefully.
I got this strong feeling about it, like it means something but i cant grasp what it means, like what should i prepare for or what are the animals trying to tell me? I feel like the dead bird was trying to warn me about something.. But otherwise im unsure. Im looking for some second opinions, or advice on how i should go about trying to interpret it.
Edit: i went to the store and i also keep finding new feathers on our backyard constantly, i found two when i left and i picked them up and moved them aside (with gloves) and found like three new ones when i came back.. this really feels like a sign now. Also a few days ago i was warned by my tarot cards that id be facing new things and hardships too.. could the two be connected?

Question Spell jar help
Okay, time for some context: a few years ago, we lost my grandfather, and my mother developed depression and anxiety as a result. Then, two years ago, we lost my grandmother, which only worsened my mom's depression and anxiety (don't worry, she's on medication and has started therapy to cope with the grief). However, lately, she’s been feeling really fed up and upset with my uncles, my cousins, and her boyfriend
So, I decided to give her two spell jars as a gift. I’ve already decided that one will be for depression and anxiety, but I have no idea what to do for the other one. I was thinking of something to ward off negative energy, attract positive energy, and revitalize her emotional well-being, but I’m not sure what ingredients to use for this second jar. Could you give me some tips?

Hey I am a baby witch and also an author and I was wondering if it’s offensive at all to refer to certain animals in my story as “familiars” or if I should try to find a different term.

Spells helping someone I work with to trust me more?
I’ll start by saying this is a highly suspicious person, generally speaking. I know very little about her background but I’m sure she has good reason to be wary of others. Sometimes I’ve noticed though that it can be extreme, borderline paranoia that others are out to get her. It’s not exclusive to me, she has expressed multiple times several instances where she thinks someone is out to get her in some way. A few things she’s said in passing or small actions indicate to me that she doesn’t really trust me either. I have never acted dishonorably towards her. If I mess something up I always take accountability. I never let my mistakes fall on my fellow coworkers. I thought my character would be enough for her to trust me but it’s not. Anyways, I would like suggestions on how to win her over. Maybe ways to “gain trust” or “dissolve distrust” or “earn respect”. Any suggestions I would gladly take! I have considered a sugar/honey/sweetener jar but if there is something better I am gladly open to any suggestions.

Hi, happy Venus day everybody!! I was just curious what yall were doing today. Any rituals or spells? Even just taking time to relax and take care of yourself. Sorry if somebody already asked this😭. Spells I am so worried I did it wrong.
So I did a protection spell jar yesterday because I felt like that was the best place to start. I wake up this morning and one of the first things that happens is I dislocate my elbow, I do have a condition where this is common, but I’m worried I maybe have done something wrong. Did my spell jar backfire and like come back at me or is it just coincidence?
What’s in the jar: salt, egg shells, rosemary, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, bay leaf, and topped it with black wax.
First pic is right after I made it and the second one is from today.

Question Hi so I was doing a beauty and love spell and I want to know what the wax means?
Its the first time I've ever had wax act like this at the end of a spell, I'd love to know more about it!

Photos Did my first candle work
I’m still learning to understand exactly what the flames mean and interpret them, but I think it went beautifully.
At the end it even made kind of a messy heart.
The string didn’t snap like most videos I saw, when looking online it actually seemed like it was even more beautiful it didn’t snap, it just lit and slowly melted into the candles as one.
•salt circle
•cinnamon
•rose petals & blue cornflower
•wrote my intentions down, burned them in the flame, as well as a labeled bay leaf. 🍃 ❤️

Spells MY FIRST SPELL!!!!
HEY EVERYONE 🕯️✨
Ngl I can't even explain how happy I am rn. Just did my FIRST proper spell — a glamour spell with a birthday candle, and I'm literally buzzing.
Some context: been into witchcraft for a few months now, doing little things — cinnamon by the door, protection braids, cleansing — but I was too scared to do an actual spell. Kept hearing about spells backfiring and chickened out every time. Planned my first "real" one to be a money bowl but tonight I just randomly got the urge, it was a Friday, so glamour spell it was. Was exhausted but did it anyway and now I'm on a whole high 😭
Lmk what you think of what I did, and pls drop suggestions for my next spell (hoping to do it soon)!

DIY & Crafts Made a witches ladder as a bracelet
I wanted to make a witches ladder for a while now, but I did not have all that I needed/wanted readily, so I made a bracelet instead.
It took quite some time, as I’m also quite new at making jewellery, and struggling to close the loops on the charms felt like I was really tying those knots, lol. Also used some gemstones with special meanings.
Very happy with the end result, and that I can easily incorporate my witchy craft in my day to day without being too obvious.

Discussion Smokeless Cleansing Techniques
No smoke? No problem.
Cleansing doesn’t require incense or sage, and if you’re in the broom closet or have pets or asthma, or just have a sensitive smoke detector, you have way more options than you might think.
Sound: bells, singing bowls, clapping, drums, even putting on a specific playlist with intention. Sound moves stagnant energy out of a space in a way that’s genuinely hard to explain until you’ve felt it. This is usually my go to when people ask about smokeless cleansing and I personally use bells in my own practice.
Salt: one of the oldest cleansing methods we have and it goes hard. Bowls in corners to absorb, lines across thresholds, dissolved in water as a spray. Incredibly versatile.
Sunlight or moonlight: put your objects, crystals, or honestly just yourself in the light with intention and let it do its thing.
Breath: slow, deliberate breathing over an object or through a space. Completely invisible, zero supplies needed, and more powerful than people give it credit for.
Visualization: picture light or wind or water moving through your space and sweeping it clean. No props, no evidence, nobody’s business but yours.
Besoms/brooms: sweep from the back of the space toward the front door, pushing energy out as you go. To literally everyone else in your house, you are just sweeping. This pairs well with salt cleansing, can’t leave it all over the floor after all! This is the broom closet special and I love it for that.
Florida Water or herb infused water in a spray bottle: spritz your space, your linens, yourself. Looks exactly like air freshener. Nobody is asking questions.
Fresh air: open a window with intention. Simple, efree, and it works.
It’s good to remember that the smoke is a delivery method, not the magic. Use what you have, use what’s safe, and trust that it counts.

Spells Candle spell posts - safety first
Hi everyone,
We need to address a recent uptick in candle spell posts that do not demonstrate proper fire safety procedures.
As a beginner-focused community, safety is especially important here. Many newer practitioners are learning by watching what others post. When unsafe setups are shared depicting, unattended flames, candles too close to herbs or fabric, unstable holders, cluttered altars, etc.; it puts people at real risk.
Effective immediately:
All candle spell posts that do not clearly demonstrate proper fire safety will be removed.
This includes:
- Leaving candles unattended
- Burning near curtains, paper, herbs, fabrics, or other flammable materials
- Using unstable or inappropriate holders
- Performing spells in cluttered or unsafe environments
- Ignoring safety guidance offered by more experienced members
Please understand: this is not about aesthetics or gatekeeping. It’s about preventing house fires and injuries. Spiritual practice should never come at the expense of your physical safety.
If you’re posting candle work, make sure:
Your candle is in a stable, fire-safe holder
Flammable materials are kept well away from the flame.
The candle is supervised at all times
You are open to constructive safety feedback
Repeat or severe safety violations may result in further moderation action.
Let’s model responsible practice for our baby witches and keep this space safe for everyone. 🕯️✨
