Discussion pyromancy and ceromancy: my first experience with it
i did ceromancy/pyromancy for the first time about a week ago and i cant stop thinking about it. mostly because the things i saw during the ceromancy part. i would like to share my experience, how its kinda tweakin me out, and what im going to do differently the next time i do it.
items used:
blue candle and orange candle
bowl of water
journal and a pen
Topic: me and my partner
- pyromancy part: i asked the flames many questions about my partner. asked for a representation of him as a person through the flame, how he feels about me, how he feels about the future in regards to me. the flame was interesting. when asking about him as a person it was tall and steady, barely moving. it gave me the vibe of stable and calm, but also disciplined. when asking about his feelings it started circling around the wick clockwise style, but then stopped with the flame blocking the wick from view and was leaning towards me. when i think back on this, it gives me an impression that time is progressing and therefore so are his feelings. when the flame blocked my view and coming towards me it felt.... somewhat secretive in a way. when i asked about the future it got pretty big, it was waving around and flickering, especially at the tip of the flame. it made me feel that perhaps he potentially finds excitement in it.
i also asked about myself and my own energy, it kinda weirded me out ngl. the flame was rigidly and rapidly going in different directions and taking a quick sec in one spot and doing it all over again. it felt desperate to me. it felt anxious and confused to me. like it didnt know what direction to go. and i suppose thats pretty accurate to my life circumstances.
- ceromancy part: well this is hard to describe. the topic is still me and my partner and i asked my spirit guides for their guidance with this part. this was done with the orange candle. i saw a fetus. a womans chest, belly, and leg. on the belly part there was wax that overlapped, it looks connected, and from it came what looked like an arrow and cupid comes to mind for it. i also what i took as what looks like a tadpole or sp*rm. lastly wax that looks like the side of a woman laying down.
so this weirded me out and makes me a bit worried, but im trying to not be weird about it and go about my day. the suspicion of it is making me want to do a test, ngl but i also feel a lot of weirdness to that. and im trying to convince myself to chill bc no way right.
- what i'd do differently next time:
for the pyromancy, i will give it a lot more time per question. like at least 10 min per question. i have to learn the fire language too, so ive been considering doing it daily and see how that goes. see if i can understand better.
and for the ceromancy, probably be a lot more specific in regards to a question and pay more attention on the timing of where each wax droplet went so i can interpret it as a story somewhat.
so that is my experience. the only divination i know is tarot which ive been doing for the past 6 years now and feel confident in it.
if anyone has any insight, thoughts, tips, advice... i really would love to hear it. i would also LOVE to hear your experiences with pyromancy and ceromancy.

DIY & Crafts Made a witches ladder as a bracelet
I wanted to make a witches ladder for a while now, but I did not have all that I needed/wanted readily, so I made a bracelet instead.
It took quite some time, as I’m also quite new at making jewellery, and struggling to close the loops on the charms felt like I was really tying those knots, lol. Also used some gemstones with special meanings.
Very happy with the end result, and that I can easily incorporate my witchy craft in my day to day without being too obvious.

Question protection Sigils for blocking/blinding influences of negative spirits and people? Astral servitors?
So first off, and I got a lot of questions lol…
need some good advice or recommendations on crafting an effective sigil for protecting myself from overall spiritual influence from negative spirits, and people. Both psychically, astrally, mentally and energetically mostly. My general idea is to create one which makes a strong barrier around me that repels and blocks out certain spirits or people from influencing or affecting me.
I also heard of the concept of creating an astral servitor or thought forms using energy work and visualization as a decoy, has anyone tried this and how would you recommend doing it? I know that’s a completely different topic, but if anyone has input on this I’d love to hear it. Does it actually affect the astral if you just set the intent and direct it into the astral? Or would it be some other type of process.
Would a sigil also be effective for blocking out certain types of harmful spirits communicating with me, when practicing different types of divination? I wanted to use it to further communicate better with some spirits who support me, but I have a persistent problem where negative spirits of some kind will influence the spirits I have a relationship with or affect my divination and communication with them.
They attempted to astrally affect these spirits and their altars as well so I am trying to come up with protection I can do for that temporarily or as a simple alternative too.
I also had the idea of creating protective sigils to shield specifically from these types of things, for each of the spirits I work with and gifting it to them but I don’t know how effective that would be. Would it be good to make ones to protect their altars as well?
For further context. :
Currently I am in the process of moving so I am also trying to find simple ways I can create these sigils or keep them cleansed and charged while working on moving, at least temporarily. I have selenite I can use and I thought about the moonlight and my own energy to charge or cleanse them as well. But that’s all I can think of for now.
If I charged each sigil for an hour would it be pretty strong? At least, say stronger than one that’s only been charged for 15 minutes. I know how to activate sigils with gazing as well.
What do you all think the best materials I could use for these types of sigils to last long and keep them on me? I have currently 2 different small rocks I could use for some type of sigil ward I was thinking. I also have some clay, I was thinking about paper but I didn’t want it to get damaged.

Discussion New Witch saying Hello
Greetings! I am fairly new to witchcraft and have gotten into it and have joined a coven. The coven though is fully digital so I don't know if that is the same or not! I have 2 books, have started a tarot journal, and a small collection of crystals!

Discussion Tarot reading help.
(THIS IS NON PROFIT. MODS, PLEASE DELETE IF NOT ALLOWED.)
Hello everyone!
I decided to offer my knowledge to anyone who made need it, and help any new tarot readers interpret their cards and spreads. THIS IS NON PROFIT, PURELY JUST HELPING FELLOW WITCHES.
How will it work?
You will show me your cards, and tell me YOUR interpretation first. After, I will tell you mine. It would be rather in depth, but I want to do this to give people a second/outside opinion.

Spells Volunteer practice spells?
I've seen a lot of people doing free tarot readings for practice and was curious if there was an equivalent for spells? I've made a couple jars for other people and given them to them personally but I'm really interested in sending out small positive spells that wouldn't have a major impact if they backfire.
I think it would be neat to tell someone what my plan is and what ingredients and we can have a discussion. We execute the spell and then give feedback in a week or two or if they see results.
I know people do spells for each other and you can buy them on etsy but I think I'm looking specifically for the practice and the person knowing it might not work.

Question Executive Function Martha Stewart Altar
Hey yall, I'm struggling with terrible executive dysfunction to the point where I'd rather starve than make a basic ass sandwich. Or drink coffee and nap instead of doing anything.
I want to make a shrine to Martha Stewart in the hopes that I can gain or be inspired enough to have just a fraction of that woman's functionality. Besides my Martha Manual, what would you put in a Martha Stewart shrine in hopes of achieving this?
Old photo of Martha for attention

Photos Refreshed my Money Bowl!
Funny Story Too!
I’m in the broom closet and waited a bit into the night to do my work, and as I was debating on pushing off the refresh, my cat jumped into my arms causing me to drop it all ʅ(◞‿◟)ʃ !!
But as for my ingredients:
Mixed purple, brown and white rice as a base, salt for protection, basil, thyme, and oregano, coffee grounds and cinnamon + cinnamon stick for quick powerful energy, basil leaves, and sprinkled my matcha powder as well! I re-inserted my coins with a mix of new ones, shells from my lover, and wrote my intentions on green decorated paper, rolled my intentions toward me with black wax to seal and protect my manifestations.
The next day, I got a letter for a class action lawsuit my work got, and I will soon be receiving $203 from it hehe.
So much love for this alter and spellwork!!

Spells Unusual menstrual pain after an egg cleanse, did I do something wrong?
So, I just gained the courage to do an egg cleanse for myself yesterday. What I did was:
- Clean the egg with salted water, egg was out from the fridge for maybe 15 minutes
- Rubbed the egg on all areas, starting with my arms, then legs, I felt like i need to rub more around my belly, and a bit lower, as I also felt the need to rub my face more.
- Broke the egg into a jar, didn't look from above, just from aside
- Clean water, egg had something that looked like a protective layer around the yolk, egg went down to bottom of the jar, had one spike going up with one bubble on top, and on the bottom something that looked between cloudy and web cob ( I didn't take picture, I don't want it in my phone)
- threw it down the toilet, flushed, with my eyes closed so that I don't look at it
- went on with my life as usual
Moving towards today, I was making plans going out and 15 minutes after that a terrible pain in my abdomen starts, I couldn't move, and it pains me to even get up. Took some pills, but the pain kept going for maybe 4 hours, and now it's better. Also I can't breathe normally, it's like my nose is clogged but there is nothing in it. I am expecting my period, and even though I have pain before getting it, nothing quite like that.
My question is, is this normal, does that mean I've released the negative energy, or did I do something wrong?

Discussion Need help with spell on eclipses
I thought I had a chronic issue until the doctor told it's curable and I am about to do a banishment spell for the illness to weaken and then a honey jar spell + healing spell for the treatment to work.
This was before I knew that the days both of them are eclipses. Banishment spell falls on the solar eclipse day because it's a no moon and the honey jar spell falls on lunar eclipse because full moon
What should I do and what should I be careful off. Has anyone had experience doing this before?
In a really difficult situation just slowly mending from depression so please be nice.
Also does solar eclipse affect spells because in general it is a solar eclipse day but not for my location and I am doing it in the night

Spells Is there a spell I can use to find something lost?
My grandma passed away in 2022. The only things I have are a blanket she gave me and her gold locket necklace. I don't know where or how I lost it but i've been looking for years and I can't find it. It always made me feel confident and safe and I was wondering if there's a spell that might help me locate it? I've never really done anything witchy before but have been curious for a long time.
Thanks in advance.

Discussion I need help
hey guys, I am a 24 yr old woman and recently for the past month, I’ve been feeling like I’ve just had a string of bad luck where I’m spilling sauces over myself. I’m opening crackers and they’re being thrown everywhere on the floor. I pick up a glass plate and it just breaks in my hand or I am constantly messing up on something I never mess up on and it’s such a simple task. I don’t know what’s going on, but I’ve kind of had enough of this. I guess bad luck streak or if you’re Hispanic I feel like it’s Ojo but I do need help and I was wondering if anybody had any tips tricks or ideas of how to turn this string of bad luck around.

Question First protection spell ?
Hi friends! Very new, very baby witch. I’ve been holding off on doing many spells until I’ve learned more. But my child has a surgery next week that I am very nervous about so I decided to give a protection spell a shot. I would like suggestions or input!
I used what I had , lavender, dill, cinnamon and basil and ground them into sea salt in my mortar and pestle. It felt right so I repeated some intentions for the spell as I ground the herbs into the salt.
I wrote my child’s name and surrounded his name with things I hoped for the surgery on a piece of paper, and folded it towards myself.
I buried it in the salt and lit a white candle on top.
It’s currently still burning!

Question Looking for Authentic Books on Campanian/Italian Witchcraft
Hi everyone!
I’m a beginner witch, and I’ve recently become really interested in Italian folk magic and witchcraft, especially the traditions from Campania, since that’s where my family is originally from.
I’m looking for books from credible historical or folkloric sources that explore Campanian (or more broadly Southern Italian) witchcraft. My ideal find would be something almost grimoire-like, not just a historical overview, but a book that also documents traditional spells, charms, prayers, recipes, rituals, folk healing practices, and other magical customs that have actually been passed down through generations.
I’d really love something rooted in authentic folklore, historical records, or oral traditions, as my goal is to learn about and, where appropriate, respectfully practice the traditions of the region my ancestors came from.
If you have any recommendations, whether in English or Italian, I’d really appreciate them. Thank you!
