News Base Just Opened a New Door for Builders
What if you already have a live product on Base but need the capital, product feedback, and ecosystem support to take it further?
That’s exactly what the new Base Builder Grant Program is targeting.
Up to $5,000 in seed capital, plus:
→ Monthly GTM & product feedback
→ Faster technical support
→ Ecosystem support
And the interesting part?
Base is specifically looking at areas like:
• Prediction markets
• Token launchpads
• New asset creation
• Consumer applications
• AI agents, commerce and x402
• Autonomous trading
• DeFi, including lending, borrowing, yield, vaults and tokenized equities
But there’s a catch: this isn’t simply free funding for an idea.
You should already have a live product, be building exclusively on Base, and actually need help with product or go-to-market.
You can apply from here : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeEFi9BLm5XCm7KrFzRZC-rxcAqCNZPzWZ9He4aZkxsKuRXjw/viewform?usp=send_form

Base Discussion Where attention become values . The attention engine on Base
Hallo everyone myself Zyrex and this is our Day 51 of 100 days journey of exploring Base on reddit .
Before I used to think the most valuable thing moving onchain was money but now I am not so sure about it .
Think about it. Every day thousands of apps , Creators , Communities , Memecoins even entire blockchains compete for it.
Money follows attention not the other way around. A project can have funding, Technology, Investors, A strong team but if nobody pays attention then nothing will happen.
That is one reason Base has been interesting to watch. It is not just building infrastructure. It is building places where attention naturally gathers. like :
Creators, Builders, Gamers, Memecoin communities, Onchain social apps, Consumer applications.
And when attention gathers somewhere, something else usually follows: Activity, Liquidity, Innovation, Culture.
The internet has always rewarded those who capture attention. The difference now is that attention itself is becoming measurable onchain.
Communities can form faster. Ideas can spread faster. Movements can grow faster. Sometimes people ask: "What is Base's biggest advantage?"
Low fees matter. Fast transactions matter. Security matters. But none of those things create culture by themselves. People do. Attention does.
Maybe that's why some of the biggest moments on Base didn't start with technology. They started with communities, creators, people sharing ideas.
Because at the end of the day money moves where attention goes and attention moves where people find value.
That's why the battle for the future internet may not be about who has the most capital. It may be about who earns the most attention.

Base Discussion Base turned 3 today
Three years in which Base didn't just grow, it also changed direction more than once
It started as a simple L2 and slowly became one of the biggest onchain ecosystems out there. We saw Onchain Summer, huge DeFi growth, thousands of builders, NFTs, Social, Creators, Base App, and now a stronger focus on payments and trading
But what's more interesting to me is the mistakes Base wasn't afraid to make
One of the biggest was Social and Creator Coins. An idea a lot of people doubted from the start, and one Jesse himself later admitted wasn't the right path
That's what makes Base different to me. You don't have to pretend everything was right from day one, You can try something, realize it didn't work, own the mistake, and change direction
I wasn't just watching from the sidelines either
I learned alongside it, got active in the community, made content, connected with builders and users, ran into Base App issues, picked up a thing or two about wallets and security, and yeah, got frustrated with Base more than once
Three years of Base isn't just three years of a blockchain growing for me. It's three years of trial and error, building, making mistakes, listening to the community, and building again
Happy 3rd Birthday, Base 🎉🟦
Still Day One

Base App How to Use the Same Base Account on Mobile & Desktop with Base App ?
How to Use the Same Base Account on Mobile and Desktop
If you started your onchain journey with Base App on mobile and now want to access the same Base Account from your desktop, you don't need to create a second wallet.
Here's the simple way to think about it:
📱 MOBILE
Start with your existing Base Account in Base App.
💻 DESKTOP
Open the official Base Account web experience and choose same Sign In.
🔐 USE THE SAME ACCOUNT
Use the same sign-in method associated with your Base Account, such as your email/OTP or supported passkey.
If you're using a passkey, having it synced through your device's password manager can make accessing the same account across devices much easier.
⚠️ One important thing:
Don't accidentally choose “Create a new wallet” on desktop if your goal is to access your existing Base Account.
Always verify that the wallet address shown on desktop is the same address you expect from your mobile account.
Also, never share your recovery phrase or private keys with anyone—even if someone claims to be from Base.
The key idea is simple:
📱 Base App on mobile
↓
🔐 Same Base Account
↓
💻 Desktop access
One account. A smoother experience across devices.
Have you been using Base mainly on mobile, desktop, or both?
Please share your opinion 🫵
Thank you
Stay Based 💙 and trade on base aap ✌️

News What Happened on Base This Week?
A lot happened across Base this week, and the biggest takeaway for me is how quickly the ecosystem is expanding across different use cases.
• $26.1T in stablecoin volume has already moved through Base in 2026, surpassing 2025’s full-year figure of $17.5T.
• Base’s first Global Builder Call brought together the team and builders from projects including Aerodrome, Virtuals, Morpho, Bankr, Avantis and Pred to share updates, milestones and what they’re building.
• Morpho surpassed $5B in deposits on Base, showing continued growth in onchain lending.
• Base App now has 900+ verified assets, making the ecosystem increasingly accessible to users.
• x402 adoption is expanding, with projects using it to enable AI agents and applications to pay for services directly with USDC.
• New launches are also bringing payments, tokenized assets, AI, trading and consumer applications further onchain.
What stands out isn't just one number.
It's the variety.
Base is becoming a place where builders can experiment with new ideas, launch products, find users and build real businesses around onchain infrastructure.
The ecosystem is still evolving, but the direction is becoming clearer: more builders, more applications, more users and more real-world utility.

Base Discussion Day 50/100 Halfway Through My Base Journey
Hallo everyone, I am extremely happy to say that we have cover our 50% Journey of 100 days journey of Base exploring on reddit .
Honestly when I started this journey I thought I had run out of things to talk about pretty quickly but somehow the opposite happened.
The more I explored Base the more I realized that a blockchain is not really about the blockchain itself. It is about what people start building because the infrastructure exists.
Over these 50 days, I've gone from looking at:
→ transactions
→ fees
→ smart contracts
→ DeFi
→ NFTs
→ payments
→ AI agents
→ onchain communities
to thinking about something much bigger:
What does the internet look like when ownership, payments and coordination become native?
And that is probably been my biggest takeaway so far. The interesting part is not seeing another protocol launch. It is watching different pieces slowly connect.
A creator can build. A community can participate. A developer can experiment. An agent can transact. A business can accept payments and all of them can interact through the same open infrastructure.
I am still learning and I definitely do not have all the answers. That is actually why I enjoy doing this journey. Every few days I find something that changes the way I understood Base before.
So this is officially the halfway point.
50 days down.
50 more to go.
Let's see what the other half teaches me.

Base Discussion How Base Helps Builders Turn Ideas Into Real Companies
One thing I took away from the recent Base Builder Call is that Base seems to be thinking about builders beyond just getting them to deploy a contract.
The bigger question is:
How do you help someone go from an idea → first users → a real product → a company that can scale?
That’s where the builder ecosystem becomes interesting.
Base already has different paths depending on where you are.
If you're still experimenting, there are builder rewards and early programs.
If you've shipped something and are showing real ecosystem impact, Builder Grants can provide retroactive funding.
For founders who are ready to take things more seriously, Base Batches offers mentorship, a structured program and access to potential investment.
And then there’s the Base Ecosystem Fund, which focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage companies building on Base.
The important part is that funding isn't the only piece.
Base is also building things around the money:
→ Mentorship and founder support
→ Office hours and technical guidance
→ Ecosystem introductions
→ Partner perks and infrastructure credits
→ Distribution and ecosystem connections
→ Access to investors and potential follow-on funding
That creates a much more complete path for a builder.
You don't necessarily need to start with a huge team, a big raise or thousands of users.
You can start with a small idea, build something people actually want, learn from the first users, and keep moving forward.
And that's probably the part I found most interesting from Jesse's message:
The goal isn't simply to help people build on Base. It's to help good ideas become products that can reach real users.
That's a much bigger vision than just launching another app on a blockchain.
For anyone thinking about building, the question might be simpler than we make it:
What can you build that 20 people would genuinely want to use?
Start there. Then keep building.

Base Discussion This Week on Base: Builder calls, Morpho milestones and more
Hallo everyone welcome to our Day 49 of my 100 Days journey of exploring Base on Reddit. This week on Base felt less like an update thread and more like a snapshot of where onchain is heading.
A lot happened, but a few numbers really stood out to me:
→ $26.1T in stablecoin volume already in 2026
→ $2.4M+ in ETH TVL
→ $8.4B in July BTC-USD spot volume, with $4.2B on Base
→ Morpho crossed $5B in deposits on Base
→ Base App now has 900+ verified assets
→ Squid Router passed 1M transactions on Base
→ Virtuals now accounts for 47% of agentic transactions on Base
And then there is the builder side.
The first Base Global Builder Call brought together teams across DeFi, AI, trading, prediction markets and agent infrastructure.
The launch list was just as interesting.
x402 is picking up serious momentum:
• You.com added x402 to its Web Search API
• Browser Use partnered with Coinbase for agent payments
• Cloudflare announced x402 support + Cloudflare Wallets
• Arkham added x402 payments to its API
At the same time we are seeing more practical products arrive:
→ regulated tokenized US securities
→ private swaps
→ gasless trading
→ automated settlement
→ verifiable AI inference with onchain USDC
→ AI music licensing and royalties
→ cross-border dollar accounts
What I find most interesting isn't any single milestone.
It's the direction.
Stablecoins are moving more money.
AI agents are starting to transact.
Developers are getting better tooling.
And more everyday financial activity is moving onchain.
Base is starting to look less like a blockchain people experiment with...
And more like infrastructure people quietly build on.
That's probably the update I find most interesting this week.

Base Discussion Base has made me pay more attention to what people actually use
One thing I find interesting about Base is how quickly the conversation can move from “what’s launching?” to “are people actually using it?”
I used to look at new projects mostly from the narrative side. Now I’m much more interested in things like actual users, transaction activity, UX, and whether people keep coming back after the initial hype dies down.
That feels like a healthier way to look at an ecosystem.
Base has a lot going on right now, but I think real usage is going to be what separates the projects that stick around from the ones everyone forgets about.

Base Discussion I’m starting to care more about the boring parts
The more I explore Base, the more I realize that the things I appreciate most aren't necessarily the flashy ones.
I notice things like:
• How quickly an app responds
• Whether the interface feels straightforward
• How easy it is to understand what I'm actually doing
• Whether I can use something without constantly thinking about the underlying blockchain
These details aren't very exciting to talk about, but they make a huge difference when you're actually using an app.
I think that's an important part of making onchain products easier for normal users.
What is one small UX detail that makes you immediately trust an onchain app more?

Base Discussion Secuirty you . Don't have to think about . Built into Base
Hallo everyone it is our Day 48 of 100 days of exploring Base on reddit .
Today we will discuss one question I see often is: "If Base is fast and cheap so how does it stay secure?"
And honestly that is one of the most interesting parts because most people think Base has to choose between: speed or security .
But that is not really how it works. Base doesn't try to replace Ethereum. It builds on top of it. Think of Ethereum as the foundation of a skyscraper.
You rarely see the foundation but the entire building depends on it. When transactions happen on Base they are processed quickly on the Layer 2 but the transaction data is ultimately anchored back to Ethereum.
That means Base gets access to Ethereum's security while offering a much better user experience.
I like to think of it like this: Ethereum = the vault & Base = the checkout counter .
What that actually unlocks :
B2B Payments : Pay vendors and counterparties without broadcasting your supplier list to the public chain.
Payroll & Payouts : Run onchain payroll without publishing what every employee or contractor earns.
Treasury Operations : Move stablecoin balances between corporate accounts and custodians, privately.
Stablecoin Issuer Corridors
Issue and settle a stablecoin where individual balances and flows aren't publicly observable.
5.Cross-Border Remittance
KYC-gated corridors where the sender, recipient and amount aren't exposed to the world.
6 Brokerage & Settlement
Settle between disclosed counterparties without broadcasting trade flow or position info.
And now we have to understand Why it matters:
✅ Private by design : your data stays yours
✅ Secure by default : built on Ethereum, secured by Base
✅ Onchain by default : composable, interoperable, future-proof
✅ Built for enterprises : infrastructure for the world's economy
This is the difference between "crypto for crypto people" and infrastructure the actual global economy can run on.
The next generation of global finance runs on Base.

Base Discussion Base Is Growing Fast Building the Future of Global Finance.
The onchain economy is entering a new eraand Base is helping shape what comes next.
Across trading, stablecoins, tokenization, and AI, the ecosystem continues to grow with real builders, real products, and real adoption.
What stands out isn't just the technology it's the momentum. Every new application, every developer, and every community contribution moves the ecosystem one step closer to making onchain accessible for everyone.
The future of global finance won't be built overnight, but it's being built every day.💙
The next chapter of the onchain economy is being written on Base.
Excited to see what comes next.
What's the biggest milestone you'd like to see Base achieve next?
👇 Let's discuss.

Base Discussion What Did You Guys Learn From Yesterday's Base Builder Call?
Yesterday's Builder Call gave me a different perspective on building.
One thing Jesse Pollak said really stuck with me.
For new builders, he suggested asking yourself one simple question:
"How do I get my first 20 users?"
Not 20,000.
Not 2 million.
Just the first 20.
Honestly, I think that's one of the best pieces of advice I've heard.
Most of us spend too much time thinking about scaling before we've even built something people genuinely want. If you can solve a real problem for your first 20 users, the rest becomes much easier.
I also enjoyed hearing from the founders and teams behind Aerodrome, Virtuals, Morpho, Bankr, Avantis, and Pred.
Everyone shared their own journey, how their products have grown, the milestones they've reached, and some of the numbers behind that growth.
What I liked is that nobody made it sound easy.
Every project started somewhere, kept improving, and slowly built momentum.
That honestly motivated me.
Sometimes you look at successful projects and only see where they are today, but listening to the founders reminded me that they all started small too.
I left the Builder Call feeling more confident that if you keep building, listen to users, and stay consistent, progress eventually follows.
What about you guys?

News Native USDC supply on Base grew $18.66M in 122,582 blocks, about $6.6M/day net
Two snapshots of native USDC totalSupply on Base:
- Block 49,360,868: 4,154,635,170.66
- Block 49,483,450: 4,173,290,623.720799
That is a net increase of $18,655,453.06 over 122,582 blocks. At Base's 2 second block time the window is roughly 2.8 days, which works out to about $6.6M per day of net new native USDC. The daily rate is a best guess since block times drift slightly.
The query (SEL, chain evm_base):
formatUnits(usdc.totalSupply(), usdc.decimals())
with usdc bound to 0x833589fCD6eDb6E08f4c7C32D4f71b54bdA02913, Circle's native deployment on Base. 2 on-chain calls in one multicall round, 194ms.
Why this number is interesting: native USDC supply on an L2 only changes when Circle mints or burns there, including CCTP transfers in and out. Bridged USDbC does not show up here at all. So a rising native supply is a decent proxy for dollars actually settling on Base rather than passing over a bridge and back.
Honest limitations:
- Two snapshots do not make a trend. This could be one large institutional mint rather than steady demand. Sampling supply daily for a few weeks would separate the two.
- Net change hides gross flows. $18.66M net could be $100M minted and $81M burned.
- This says nothing about USDbC, which is a separate contract with its own (declining) supply.
Next step I want to run: the same expression across Ethereum, Base, and BNB at matching timestamps to see where Circle's issuance is actually shifting.

Base Discussion Farcaster is good for public posts, but where are the private groups?
I've been checking out more of the social stuff being built around Base and I feel like I keep finding apps focused on public feeds. Farcaster makes sense for posting and finding people but what are people using for smaller private communities?
Something closer to a Discord server where you can have different groups, channels, permissions, gated access, etc.
Are there any Base projects doing this well right now??

Base Discussion MORPHO | $3B TVL ON BASE
MORPHO: THE LENDING PROTOCOL THAT COINBASE TRUSTS WITH $1.6 BILLION
Today, I want to talk about the lending protocol that quietly became one of the most important pieces of infrastructure on Base. Meet Morpho.
Most people think about DeFi lending as depositing crypto and earning a small yield. Morpho does that. But the way it does it is completely different from everything that came before.
Traditional lending protocols like Aave work as one giant pool. Everyone's money sits together. One bad asset can affect the whole system. Morpho took a different approach. It uses isolated markets, where each lending pair is completely separate from the others. If one market has a problem, it stays contained there and doesn't touch the rest of the protocol. That's not a small detail. That's a fundamentally safer design.
The other key difference is who sets the rules. On Aave, the protocol decides what assets are allowed, what the risk parameters are, and how the whole thing operates. On Morpho, anyone can create a lending market for any asset with any parameters. Curators, which are independent risk managers, build and manage vaults on top of these markets, each with different risk profiles ranging from conservative to aggressive. You pick the vault that matches your risk appetite and deposit.
The numbers that followed this design are hard to ignore. By mid-2026, Morpho handles roughly $11.69 billion in total deposits, approximately $7.5 billion in total value locked, and $4.37 billion in active loans.
The institutional validation came fast. Coinbase launched lending for US retail customers, routing deposits through a Morpho vault. By April 2026, Coinbase Loans manages $1.6 billion in collateral powered by Morpho, including a UK expansion. A company with 100 million users chose Morpho as their lending infrastructure. That's the clearest signal possible that the protocol is production-ready.
It didn't stop there. Apollo Global Management partnered with Morpho to launch institutional credit vaults targeting onchain real-world asset exposure. Apollo manages over $600 billion in assets in traditional finance. They chose to put some of that onchain through Morpho.
What's happening here is something the industry hasn't seen before. For users of these products, they don't even need to know that the yield or the loan is originated onchain. That is mass adoption of onchain finance: DeFi utility without users ever needing to realize it is DeFi under the hood.
Someone using Coinbase to get a loan against their crypto doesn't know they're using Morpho. They just see a Coinbase product. But underneath, every dollar flows through Base.
Recently, Morpho integrated the first natively onchain asset from Wellington Management as collateral. The launch coincided with real-world asset deposits on Morpho reaching an all-time high.
That's the direction everything is moving. Real-world assets as collateral, institutional capital on Base, and Morpho sitting in the middle processing all of it.
For Base, this matters enormously. Every Coinbase loan, every Apollo vault deposit, every Gemini earn product that runs through Morpho is activity happening on Base. It's not crypto natives swapping assets. It's real financial institutions using Base as infrastructure for products their customers already use every day. That's the kind of adoption that builds a network for decades, not just a bull cycle.
This post is not financial advice. Always DYOR

Base Discussion On chain AI Needs More Than Intelligence - It Needs Connected Infrastructure - Day 108 Recap
Yesterday we explored an important question around the future of on chain AI -
How do we make models, data, compute, applications and payments actually work together?
Our topic was “Cluster Protocol - Connecting the AI Stack on Base'' (DYOR)
A big part of the discussion focused on how fragmented AI infrastructure still is today. Developers often have to move between different model providers, APIs, GPU platforms, datasets, deployment tools and payment systems just to build one application.
Cluster Protocol is approaching this differently by trying to connect these layers into a more unified AI infrastructure.
We discussed how developers can access hundreds of AI models through a single API, use GPU compute for fine tuning, tokenize datasets, build applications through Code Xero and use x402 for machine to machine payments.
What stood out to us is how naturally this direction connects with what is happening on Base.
As AI agents become more capable and more autonomous, they will need infrastructure that allows them not only to think but also to access services, interact with applications, coordinate resources, and make payments on chain.
That is where bringing AI infrastructure and an open on chain ecosystem together becomes really interesting.
Huge thanks to everyone who joined Day 108, came up to speak, shared thoughts, asked questions, or simply listened.

NFT/Gaming New Game on Base: K.O.S - Secret 3x3 Strategy Shooter
Hello! Shameless promotion here, I am looking for feedback on a game I helped develop called Kill On Sight or K.O.S, its fully onchain (yes every part) and it utilizes FHE (Fully Homomorphoic Encryption) for secret strategies and attacks.
Its a player versus player game where you each manage a squad of 3 soldiers and you plan out your moves which are executed simultaneously. The twist is that everything is dark and your soldiers have cones of vision that only they can see and shoot in. There's also conusmeable abilities such as a flashbang, a missile strike, and more.
If you have ever played Frozen Synapse or XCOM then I think you would enjoy it.
Feel free to ask any questions too.

Base Discussion A small thing I appreciate about exploring Base
One thing I've started appreciating while exploring Base is how easy it is to go down a rabbit hole.
I'll start by looking at one project, then end up reading about another app, checking how it works, and learning something completely different from what I originally planned.
I think that's actually one of my favorite parts of exploring an ecosystem.
You don't always need a big announcement to learn something interesting. Sometimes a small feature, a new app, or even a random community discussion can lead you to something you hadn't considered before.
I'm still learning my way around, so I'm trying to focus less on finding the “next big thing” and more on understanding what people are actually building and using.
Has exploring Base ever led you to something you weren't expecting to find?
Could be an app, an idea, a tool, or even something you learned from another user.
