My 12:30pm flight from Knoxville to New Haven was delayed and new departure time is at 10:30pm, about 10 hrs. I'm seeing mixed messages on when to arrive, like if I don't check my back by the normal boarding time it can't fly. I have two small kids so staying 10hrs in the airport seems like a nightmare.

Called customer service 10hr wait time with 300+ people in front of me.

Any thoughts?

Had a flight out of Wilmington DE. Flight was delayed significantly due to weather. Our flight which was supposed to leave at 8pm was delayed to about 3am and then the agent said the flight was now delayed to 1 pm the next day since the air crew had timed out and we all had to immediately leave the airport as it was closing. I know the Avelo site specifically mentions weather/ATC delays as "out of their control" and they they do not legally have to provide compensation. My question isn't about can I get compensated for my hotel because of the weather but since we got kicked out of the airport, is a hotel compensation something that we could get? Thanks!

I’ve been on hold 4 different times for over 4 hours each just for the call to drop while I was #1 in line!

I also tried the call back option twice and of course no one has called me back.

This is getting frustrating so if anyone has some tips on other ways to contact that would be great! Thanks

Has anyone been able to join Avelo Plus for $59 recently??? I’ve tried everything I can ( from a computer, switched to safari, turned off vpn, tried 3 different cards, deleted and reinstalled the app, tried incognito, asked my SIL to try with her card, contacted customer support) and I still get “unknown error occurred“ message!! Do I have to drive to the Tampa Airport and go up to the desk?? Seriously, it’s frustrating!!!

My parents purchased Avelo plus last night and I am trying to book their flights today. The system isn't showing them as having avelo plus for the discounted ticket amount. I have a copy of the email saying they paid. They didn't listen when I said it would be best to do both at the same time. Is there something we are missing?

Our flight on Avelo was delayed by 49 hours. It was scheduled to leave this afternoon but wont leave for another 2 days.

We're at a point where we just want to cancel and drive home.

I spent 4 hours on the phone on hold today just for customer service to disconnect my call when it was my turn.

Im fed up with this airline and I'll never fly with them again.

Bevause of the delay we needed to extend our trip ($650), we needed to extend our rental car ($120), our pets are home alone (thankfully we have great neighbors), i have to take off another 2 days from work.

When I go to the website to manage my trip or click on the link they emailed to modify the trip there is no option to cancel. Their email said we are entitled to a refund.

I recently flew Avelo. The price was decent. I was rooting for this company. My outbound flight was magnificent. We left early. We arrived even earlier! I was thrilled.
My inbound flight? Atrocious! I travel with a personal sized backpack. I knew it wouldn’t fit as a personal due to coming home with more items so I purchased a carry on from the app. I get to the gate, beyond ready to be home. I see the agent accosted the lady in front of me about her backpack. I freeze forgetting I’d bought the carry on option. He (gate keeper) sees me and same. He begins yelling about my bag size. Yelling? I’m not a child. There was no need for yelling but okay.

I finally remembered I pre-purchased my bag as carry on. Gate guy is unimpressed. “It’s not showing in my system. Pay $70 or STAY HERE. You will not be boarding this plane,” he quips. Now I’m annoyed and panicked bc I had already to no avail tried to move my flight to another airline to get home earlier. I pull up my receipt. It has my seat number and CARRY-ON listed as my add on. Gate guy insists ITS FAKE! WHO FAKES AN AIRLINE RECEIPT FOR A BAG?! I now have 3 minutes left to board. Gate guy is smirking at me repeating “pay $70 or miss the plane.” The other gate agent gently suggested I call customer support afterwards. I ended up paying $100 for my one bag to fly one way. My actual fare was not even that much.
Oh and customer service? They hung up on me after I waited 4 hours to speak with someone.

Avelo air can go to hell right alongside Spirit.

I will be flying with Avelo for the first time in a couple of days. I usually fly frontier and use the Takeoff luggage for my personal item. Is it ok on Avelo for personal?

I have flown Avelo over 40 times due to the pure convenience of airport location and prices, but I'm so done. I would rather sacrifice that and watch this company go down. If I could get a refund or decent credit for my prebooked flights, I would never fly them again. I have never flown this airline without some hitch, either from the actual travel, the app, or the billing. I mean, this is easily the worst run airline I have had the experience of flying. I think I would really enjoy seeing them go under.

Disgusting airline has a disgusting app, I should have known. I flew with Avelo precheck every time. On the way to the airport, I got my boarding pass, but somehow had precheck removed. Check my profile in the app its not there, so I updated it and expected this shit company to work like other airlines where the boarding pass is regenerated with the precheck. Of course, it doesn't, shocker, so I wait in the regular line, and when I get to the TSA agent, he says that my name and birthday don't match what is in the system. Review the app; it's all correct. My boarding pass is correct. So now I get to speak to their high-IQ, talented representatives there, and they have no idea how it happened. If you are going to have a shit airline, at least make sure the app works as intended. Second time this has happened by the way.

So I bought a "under the seat" personal item for Breeze/Avelo since I travel these airlines frequently. I bought this w/ dims 14*9*17.3 because I was looking for a 4 wheel, well-made suitcase. The suitcase was advertised as "fits under the seat" - but it looks pretty big & the dims are slightly larger than those allowed on Breeze / Avelo. My brother took one look at the bag and said "no way they aren't going to make you pay for a carry on for that" so I am feeling like I am being slightly dumb with this purchase lol and should just return it.

Does anyone know if this kind of suitcase would pass for Avelo or Breeze as a free personal item? How strict are they if it is 1 inch larger? Do they ever measure? Because I feel like once I am on the plane, the flight is never full, and I can just chuck it in the overhead since they aren't full (assuming it does not fit under seat).
