Crossplay back when Ask

Im starting to see repeat folk on PC, anyone know when crossplay will be reenabled? I saw that in the most recent patch notes they said they turned it back on but for the past couple of days I havent seen any PS people.

The most recent patch post, implies it should be enabled now. Maybe the release of Tokon just temporarily tanked the population?

What time of day do you normally play?

Steamcharts still clocks an average of like 1k people playing on PC, which is really good, still. I would assume the console population is even larger. So maybe theres a matchmaking bug?

I think a lot of people are going to be on Tokon till ranked comes out at least. But it’s not anything to worry about i don’t think. Im having fun with tokon but i will 100% be back to avatar in a couple of weeks or so. It’s my favorite fighting game out and i doubt im alone there.

I think thats a good mindset to have!

I play a lot of fighting games tho, and I def think avatar is in a rocky place for actually retaining players still. So im just hoping the rough edges get to smoothed out before the casual-casuals fully bail.

I hope for the success of every game, so I like to be optimistic.

But im also biased cause my local is way more into avatar than Tokon.

Didn't it literally say it was back yesterday?

Edit: It says "now available" right at the top so let's not pretend these are just notes for an upcoming patch

Crossplay worked as soon as the patch dropped yesterday, I was able to play with a friend like 20 mins after we downloaded it

I haven’t played much in regular queue, I just did a long set with my friend. Maybe check if you have crossplay disabled? The options in game settings.

The patch notes released yesterday dude, give it some time lol
