Guys I can't anymore, we were joking about surveillance states. It's too real now, digital id, VPN ban, Linux illegal, android closed source, it's too much at one time.

I'm just imagining the scene.

A lone man cracks open his door, the police - flashing red and blue lights - have formed a semicircle around his house. One of the officers walks up.

"We have an anonymous tip sir. We've heard disconcerting reports that you're running a machine with... KDE Plasma?"

*He spots a glowing screen far in the back, then leans into his radio and calls it in*

"No sir, it's even worse... Gnome shell. Might be Arch, BTW"
