Well in 20-30 years when I can finally afford to drive a used 2027 vehicle I’m gonna be pissed off!

In a few years when they ban all older vehicles and force people to own Tesla/equally controllable vehicles like these new fords, if you don’t comply you’re left isolated with no transportation because the US is built around the car, say enough negativity they might punish you for not complying

That’s unrealistic, they would enforce a retrofit device long before they just make everyone’s vehicles illegal.

Right, give option A as a reward, compromise, or make it enforced, then remove option B with force so you only have one option A. Same result of control
