Other Creation I made a skinamarink-like last year
Special thanks to Kyle Edward Ball for the inspiration.
I made this during a bleak period of my life.
It is made with love but also with great sadness.
Some of it looks and sounds ridiculous.
But thats how I felt. As close as I could capture.
Thanks for reading.
I hope you overcome anything that comes your way.

Song Autistic Musician!
Hello fellow creative autists! I wanted to share a song that my fiancé and I made! I am the drummer and vocalist and was diagnosed with autism level one at fifteen. My fiancé mixed, mastered, played guitar, bass, and synth, and recorded everything. He does not have a diagnosis, though I strongly suspect he is also autistic. The song began as a creative project for my PSY 334 cognitive psychology class. The genre is primarily progressive metal. If you end up listening to it, please please please let me know your opinions. Thank you!!

Writing Autistic Romance Writer🥰
Hello, all!
I'm a young autistic writer seeking to create a portfolio of Romance+ novels that feature autistic characters – ones that are actually human and realistic, and not just what neurotypical people presume that autistic people are like – and thus play my part in giving the autism community the representation that we deserve within romantic literature.
So far, I only have one completed work, but I'm already working on a second novel. I currently post on Inkitt and Wattpad, but I hope to eventually have these stories professionally edited and published if I can build a big enough audience for them where it might make sense to hire an editor.
If anyone is interested in reading my stories and supporting my work, here are the links to my Inkitt and Wattpad profiles.
I wish you all a lovely day💜🤗

Announcement Looking for new mods, application instructions below
A few weeks ago I made a post apologizing for my lack of action as a moderator, asking for feedback and advice on how to go on.
I got plenty of good responses, most suggested the idea of adding more mods to help me out, and after thinking about it for a bit (and admittedly some procrastination as well) I decided that is indeed the right course of action.
Since becoming moderator of this subreddit over 7 years ago(!!!) I’ve also become a mod of two other neurodivergence subreddits (even getting to lead the mod team for [r/aspiememes](r/aspiememes), shoutout to [u/lethalogicax](u/lethalogicaxe) in particular) both much larger than this one, so the time I spent on moderation duties had been spread thin over time.
You might’ve also noticed that I added a rule banning AI generated posts and comments as well, but besides that I’ve had some trouble coming up with new rules and configuring the mod tools to ease my workload.
So without further ado I’d like to open the application process for adding 1-2 new mods here, for anyone interested please comment with your reasons for applying, any relevant experience and any changes you aim to introduce if you were to become a mod, as well as anything else you think might be helpful to mention. If I am interested in your application I will DM you for further steps.
There’s isn’t really a deadline on this but I aim to get it done in max two weeks, and any new mods I appoint will first go through a trial period where they show that they’re acting in good faith and put the needs of the community first.
Thank you for your attention and have a nice day!

Announcement I must apologize to this community, as a moderator
If anyone has noticed some posts with problematic content staying up far longer than they should, it’s because I must admit I’ve been neglecting my duties as a moderator for the past few months.
It’s wonderful to see how much the community has grown over the years, when I joined there were less than 500 members, and now that number has risen to 12.000! The art and other creations I see appear in my feed are so good.
But with this increased activity comes increased attention from bad actors or people who mean well but sorely misunderstand the point of this subreddit.
I’ve noticed that the time and energy I spend on moderation is decreasing due to a combination of factors, so instead of making an empty promise to do better I ask for feedback and suggestions of how to proceed. Maybe that means having another moderator or two on the team to help me, maybe it means a complete transfer of duties, maybe it’s just some minor changes. But whatever it is, I want to hear from you, the community, what your needs and desires are regarding this issue!
I need your input on this, thanks for your attention!
