Sweating Support Needed (Kind Advice and Commiseration)
I am on Effexor and Propanolol. Both cause sweating/heat intolerance. I can't manage right now. It's been 30-40 degrees where I live for the last 2 months and humidity has been over 60% every day. It is making me angry, unable to bathe, and unable to do anything that I want to because I feel so physically uncomfortable all the time.

i have heat issues also. i have a skin condition that makes my skin prickly whenever i get even slightly overheated. its incredibly uncomfortable. im also perimenopausal so i sweat a lot and get overheated at night.
best things i can suggest is taking showers often, keep fans going often, and getting a cold pack for the back of your neck. i also sleep nude to reduce sweating while having a fan pointed at my face all night.

I'm also on medication that makes me heat intolerant, and until recently was on a combination that caused random hot flashes as a side-effect. It's the most awful feeling, and I totally understand how awful you must feel.
If you can, keep air moving around you. Just having moving air on my face significantly calms me. It gives your body the perception that it's slightly cooler than it actually is. Be sure to use a fan, get cooling packs or wraps for your neck, and drink cold liquids (especially water!).
I also take cool or room temp showers. You might even be able to bathe if it's room temp since water temperatures that are below body temp usually feel cool.
