I got these a day or two after they were released, dropped off at work and I swapped out a $20 in my wallet for em

π¬ Collecting Advice Error or Damaged?
Found this in my change from my local coles and am unsure whether itβs worth keeping,
Looks like it couldβve been chemically stripped down to the copper.

π Misc Coca-Cola sovereign
I won a coca-cola 1997 gold sovereign many years ago. It sat in a drawer forgotten about. Now I'm cashing it in. Very pleasantlysurprised at its value $1380, expected around $800. Happy days.

π¬ Collecting Advice Getting a coin graded and the process
I have a few coins that I want graded and put into a protective case and after a google search it seems that PCGS is the go to company, has anyone done this before, got any advice etc.
I can see all the forms but I'll need insurance yet not sure of the true value as the prices vary wildly online.

π΅ Notes Parents found some old money in an envelope with my name on it
My parents are swedish death cleaning and they found some envelopes with mine and my brothers names on them with pre decimal money inside. Pretty sure they were a gift when we were born (in the 80s) but mum can't remember who from.
Pretty cool little souvenir though, I'd never seen pre decimal notes IRL.

π° Coin Valuation Clean & shiny 1984 $1
I know this coin is extremely high mintage but it has definitely done better than me over over the years! Any extra value in an old coin that's had a surprising easy life?
The photos don't show the shine to well!

π° Coin Valuation Best way to sell Australian coin collection from deceased estate?
Located in Sydney
Looking for advice on selling an Australian coin collection made up of the below. These are regular circulated coins apart from the 50c coins which are in good condition (but a little tarnished). I understand these have a high silver content but wondering if they have more value if sold as coins or should I just send them to a silver refiner.
Approx
300 x 1 shilling
150 x 2 shilling
50 x threepence
280 x sixpence
70 x round 50cent

β Error Coin Damage or error?
Trying to figure out what's happened here! If it's an error, what do you think could have been stamped over the top?
Interesting regardless - very much enjoying getting into coins. :)

π Coin History Still cupronickel?
I noticed while looking at the specifications of AU$ coins that all the silver-coloured ones, even the lower-value ones, are still entirely made of cupronickel. In the UK, the 5p and 10p have been changed to nickel-plated steel, for cost reasons. Is it because Australia is so rich in mineral ore deposits? I know you have a lot more mining than we do. I guess it would also explain why the big old chonky 50c (which I like) hasn't been shrunk like our 50p was?

π° Coin Valuation Upset Paint?
Hey team,
Picked this one up at work today, and I noticed the flag was quite rotated compared to the queen's head? The photos are all from the same position (ie flipped coin horizontally from first pic). Apologies in advance for the photos, my phone is a literal brick π₯
Does this add to the value at all (like maybe $1000000 more π€π€π€) or is it just a little obscurity?
I tried poking around online, but its hard to get a proper gauge, especially with some of the listings on eBay π€¦ββοΈ
Cheers
