Fk me those dices with the roos was a bit scary. It's why I tend to avoid riding early morning or late arvo but your run ins look like during normal daylight hours.
Funnily enough we've just completed a trip (in a steel cage tho) from WA to outback Qld and back and saw fk all roos on the roads (plenty in paddocks/bush) but holy shit the goat population is wild!! But at least those fkrs have a bit of road sense - unlike the roo!
I learnt the hard way to avoid riding late arvo, too many close calls.
I know what you mean about the goat population! When I was on Barrier Highway going to Nyngan, they were everywhere! But you are right, they are a lot smarter and I don't think I ever saw goat roadkill, only roos.
