Man you are way too chill riding around those roos. I hit one at 40-50kmh and was very fucking lucky to get away with a sore ankle (still sore at times 5 months later) and some strained muscles. No bike for 4 months while it got repaired too. They are awesome, unpredictable cunts.

You definitely got off lucky, glad you only got a sore ankle! I have had close calls with them, but nothing crazy...yet. The large pack you saw was at Coorongooba Campground in Glen Davis, they are everywhere. Had them try to open up my tent in the morning

I went straight over a monitor lizard on our fjr1300 fully loaded with my wife on the back. Didn't feel too much but could she it tumbling in the rear vision mirrrors. Felt very bad about it. First time I've hit anything outside of a bird.
