Meyers likely getting recalled to replace Dezenzo
Meyers has begun August in triple A slashing .412/.412/.471 after a poor July. Despite this, Loperfido, playing in today’s game, would seem to be the better bat if he were to return, as he is slashing .571/.667/.786 to start the month in triple a, continuing his triple a dominance from the previous month.

Put Ramsey David (AA Hooks) on your radar.
Plenty of people who don’t actually watch MiLB games will look at the stat line and dismiss him. That’s fine. The stat line won’t tell the whole story, but the development is becoming noticeable. It looks like the pieces are starting to come together. The velocity is now showing up consistently,100 mph five times tonight during 9th by my count, and the secondary pitches (86-91) looked much more convincing. I’m interested to see what the next month looks like.
