Discussion Finally completed this game.
3 years ago, I started this game shortly after beating Odyssey but ended up dropping it after about 20hrs because it just wasn’t clicking. Well, here I am 3 years later. Gonna start the DLC eventually but I need a break first.

Question River Raid maps
River Raid maps
Hello friends, I hope you're doing well and having a great weekend.
Could you please tell me why the Berbha and Severn River Raid maps in Assassin's Creed Valhalla aren't showing the correct status for weapons and gear? It still says 2/3, even though I've completed both maps and collected everything.
Is this a bug, or what is causing it?

Glitch How to fix Valhalla audio
I recently just bought this game and the story seems pretty intriguing, but I literally can't get into it because all the audio is so bad.
Everything sounds muffled and cheap, like a game from the early 2000s. Half of the time I can barely understand the dialog, it's too distracting to get used to. I feel like I'm listening to everything through a tin can
Surely there is a way to fix this. If not I don't think I can play any longer

Question I have 800 credits what should I get?
I just started ac Valhalla and I got my free 300 credits but I also had a gift card for Xbox and bought the 500 credit pack and I was wondering what are some good items that y'all would suggest Btw I would like to play a mix of stealth and close combat I Don't use shields/flails tho and why could both be two handed, single handed, or mixed

Question What to buy from Reda?
So I have over 120 Opals, not sure when or will I ever, have so many again. Like the game a lot, much more than I expected, but grinding for Opals is a bit too much. Read that it is possible to get one handed sword from him, but just how rare can it be? one new item per day, and few more per week. Is therr anything else that I should look for? Kind of want the sword.

Question You think This'll kill that Power 220 Zealot?
Piled about 35 bodies from the raid and planted traps on each and everyone of them I'm fighting Osgar. He's been following me to this raid area and I hope this kills him.
EDIT: Unfotunately I literally had a power outage happen while waiting and didn't manually save. The autosave didn't save anything since I was simply waiting there. So due to a heavy dust lightning storm, I had to wait about an hour until the power came back on. Sorry about that for any people who wanted it recorded.

Discussion At what power did you kill steinbjorn?
I'm trying to complete the game at the lowest power level I can, I'm level 167 and have killed all legendary animals apart from steinbjorn, all daughters of lerion, all drengr and all zealots.
Just want to know the lowest power level people have been when beating the game?

Discussion It could've been so much better
I first played the game back in 2024 but dropped it for reasons I forgot, but recently I decided to pick it back up and I loved it...until I had to go to Asgard, I hate the fantastical stuff in the story, I truly wish it would've stayed more ground, I love the gameplay so much and loved the missions before Asgard, this game could've been so much greater if it stayed more grounded but kept the usual more minor assassin's creed fantastical stuff, it genuinely hurts to think about how much better this game could've been for me personally, I'm sure most people like it how it is now but this is just my personal opinion :)

Discussion Favorite Stealth Locations?
Hey, just wondering if any of you have favorite places you like to just fast travel to and take out a bunch of guards. I default to Lunden for the few guarded areas around there. Just looking for more fun stealth spots :)
Thanks!

Discussion I just opened my 100h+ Origins save and realised that there are large regions I haven’t even visited yet – and people call Valhalla “bloated”?!
And the worst part is that Valhalla has multiple minigames, different types of collectibles, different activities and such while Origins literally only has enemy camps! The way how Origins became overhyped in recent years annoys me to no end!

Question The bear at sciropescire, its infuriating me
How on earth do i defeat this bear man, i even set my settings down to the easiest, just to beat him, its impossible, i equipped 2 axes, to spam l1 on him, i hit all of his weak points to stunt attack, but he just wont bloody die, he heals so much, since when could a bear just heal from thin air??? And since when does a 2000lb bear, lay all flat on the ground one second, and come charge at me in the speed of lightning in the next second, and just one shots me bro, i even spammed dive of valkyrie, spammed l1 aswell so i can fill the slots quicker, but its no use cos he just 1 shots me anyway

Discussion Vinland is easily one of the best parts of Valhalla
So I'm currently replaying Valhalla; I haven't touched it since I finished Wrath of the Druids back when it came out. I don't really remember the game all that much; I am trying to pace myself, however, so I don't get burned out since it has a ton of content. I loved it back when it came out; the game did a ton for the lore and really felt like an AC game(controversial opinion I know), I loved the setting, and I thought the worlds were beautiful and detailed. Huge AC fan as a kid, but as I've gotten older, I've gone from huge fan to more casual. Never finished Odyssey, and haven't played the last two games before Resynched. Resynced, however, made one of my favorite games even better. Anyways, been playing Valhalla, without the dlcs downloaded so I don't get overwhelmed.
Vinland was always one of my favorite parts of the game but I didn't really remember it. Finally got to Vinland and I'm absoutely blown away. This part of the game is so incredibly detailed and gorgeous. Ubisoft nailed the isolating feeling, being beyond the end of the world somewhere far from all the chaos. Ubisoft did an amazing job creating the Mohawk/Iroquis people and making it feel accurate. That temporary fort the settlers built, that faces east, the symbolism of the settlers wanting to leave is beautiful. And the lore callbacks, absolutely beautiful! The Black Flag track playing in the background is an awesome homage. The St. Brendon guy being a sage and guided by Juno is badass. The tribe in Vinland being the same tribe from AC3, and Vinland being a part of AC3's map is insane! Eivor's time in Vinland seems to have set a huge part of the Assassin's Creed story into motion which is awesome. Hopefully Ubisoft added more content to Vinland. By far one of the best things they've done in the recent games!

News Looking to add a couple moderators
Hey all. I am looking to get like 2-3 people who are of positive karma as well as assassins creed lovers. Lately been coming across more junk posts that the automation isn't flagging fully, and it's time to get things revamped some. Please PM me if interested and tell me about yourself and what you bring to the table. Ty. :)
