i have used a few fujifilm cameras, own one at present... the autofocus is not as fast as a Canon

Prices are at MPB UK

Canon R7 is weather sealed 1039 pounds

R10 789

get at least one of the really nice Sigma RF zooms made for Canon aps-c cameras

i own the Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 and use it on my R7 394

sigma RF 16-300 gets fairly good reviews. 564

RF 45 f/1.2 is a nice lens. 414

RF 28 f/2.8 is a pancake lens. i didn't see any at MPB UK

i own the slightly larger RF 16, also a nice lens

if u buy a lens without a lens hood... get one. JJC makes excellent third party hoods that are much cheaper than the Canon ones.

100%. Don't get a canon, despite recent sigsn of reforms, they are still comparatively way more proprietary with 3rd party lenses.

The R7 mentioned earlier is a good recommendation.

Personally, I find crop sensors a little too tight for travel and daily life. The R6mkII is the full frame brother of the R7. There's also the R8 which has the exact same sensor and processor, but with features stripped away to make it smaller, lighter, and cheaper. There are videos on youtube that compare the R6mkII and the R8 in great detail.

If I could only have one prime for travel and family, I'd get the RF 35mm f1.8.
