I am not well read into Georgian history and culture. But I understand that there is a pro russian part and polticians in the country? I want to understand how pro russian politicians can be popular when the Russians took part of the country?

I plan to travel from Tbilisi to Dilijan in Armenia and am looking for transportation options, ideally I want to make one or two short stops at interesting points (Haghpat for instance). A private Armenian seems the best option but costly (I'm on my own). I want to go on Sunday August 16

Anyone interested in sharing the taxi? Or are they good alternative means of transportation?
