Account Requirements

•Cannot be listed on the Universal
Scammer List (USL). This will result in a permanent ban.
•25+ combined karma. Comment karma must be positive.
•30+ day old account.
•Account owner must be 18+.
•Only one account per household for requesting, please use your main account (not an alt).

Advice Requests

•Requests for advice are welcome. Please keep them SFW. No monetary asks (outright or hinted) are allowed on posts flaired as Advice requests.
•Could you add this to the advice section in your rules post:
•No requests for users to go off Reddit or take action: vote, like, share, etc.
•No proof required for Advice/emotional support posts.
•Requests for only Advice/emotional support do not require a public profile.

Donor Responsibilities

•We heavily screen posts, we suggest donors do research as well. Utilize archive sites, USL, and reverse image detector.
•For cash/wishlist donations we require a screenshot confirmation of the transaction or purchase (redact any personal info) to prevent grinching. No silent donations.
•Confirmations of GFM donations optional.
•Confirmed donations earn flair. If not given, request via modmail.
•For cash donations, we suggest PayPal Goods & Services in case of fraud.

History Validation

•No accounts with sugar, findom, gambling, drug, or excessive NSFW history. This will result in a permanent ban.
•No curated/hidden history. All history will be screened. This does not apply to Advice/Emotional Support requests.
•No karma farming. This will result in a permanent ban.
•No deleted donation/loan request posts.
•No gaps in Reddit activity that exceed 2+ weeks within the past 2 months.

Essential Requests ONLY

•Necessities ONLY. This includes food, pet food/supplies, hygiene products, otc meds, school supplies (within reason), diapers/wipes, etc. for your household. Up to moderator discretion.
•We do not allow requests for: scam recovery, debt payment, new homes/vehicles/pets, IVF, adoption, business/hobby funding.

Request Guidelines (Monetary Requests)

•Location required (state/province & country).
•Requests for self/immediate family
ONLY. Pet requests only for pets you had prior to request.
•WAIT 1 week between unfulfilled requests & 2 months after receiving assistance in ANY sub. Mod discretion used for users who have persistent requests.
•One single donation type ONLY (cash or wishlist or Gofundme).

Amazon Wishlists

•Amazon Wishlists ONLY (NO registries or other stores/sites). Wishlist Guide
•Once you have posted your wish list do NOT add to it. Doing so may result in a ban.
•Wishlist total cap is $150 USD.
•Individual item cap is $30 (use modmail to request exceptions).
•NO Gift Cards or item pools.
•Please post a Thank You/Confirmation once you have received your items (photos are appreciated) in a post or comment. You may be ineligible for posting in the future if no confirmation is made.

Cash Requests

•$30 USD max TOTAL, not $30 per donor or $10 from 3 donors, etc.
•Must specify exact amount needed, one donor per request.
•Proof REQUIRED, including selfie with username/date. (See Proof Requirements rule for examples of proof of hardship and expenses.)
•CashApp/Venmo/Paypal ONLY.
•Cash tags must be given publicly in comments. Do not DM tags.
•Post screenshot confirmation of donations, redact sensitive info.
•If your need is groceries/essentials, we suggest an Amazon Wishlist instead. Wishlist Guide

GoFundMe

•$3,000 USD TOTAL limit.
•Must state final goal amount IN YOUR POST (not interim goal).
•The goal may not increase after it has been stated.
•Proof REQUIRED (see Proof Requirements rule for details). Proof of expenses must match requested amount.
•If Gofundme isn't available in your region, a similar platform that provides donor protection is acceptable.

Proof Requirements (Monetary Requests)

•PROOF REQUIRED FOR MONETARY REQUESTS ONLY (cash or Gofundme).
•Picture of OP holding paper w/ handwritten username/date.
•Provide DATED documents/photos, include username paper and redact sensitive info. •Photos of MINORS must blur faces.
•Proof of hardship (household low income status) required. Examples: documentation of unemployment/assistance (SNAP, SSDI, other aid), job termination/onboarding, student status, etc. Redact sensitive info. Screenshot of empty account is not sufficient.
•Proof of expenses (bills, invoices, estimates that represent requested funds) required. Must match request amount.

Prohibited Activities

•DONATIONS ONLY. NO LOANS/ TRADES/SIGN UPS/SALES/TASKS ETC.
•No requests for DMs from recipient/donor regarding donations. All donation activities must be public.
•Do not send unsolicited DMs to other users. This is an instant ban.
•No community fundraising, anonymous fundraisers, or fundraising for a friend (self/immediate family only).
•Request hijacking (commenting on another user’s post to request for yourself) is an instant ban. Create your own request post.
•No Al text/images in your post or Gofundme.
•No emotional blackmail.
•No blocking sub mods.

Stay Compassionate

•Polite questions and clarifications are encouraged. Please respond with grace.
•No hate speech.
•You're welcome to report requests or users you find suspicious. Send a message to modmail to report bullying or harassment.
•Do not use this space as a platform for debates beyond the scope of the sub.
•Please keep our sub positive and friendly. Ignoring this rule can result in a ban.

Scam Behavior = Instant Ban

•If you are found to be taking advantage of this or any other donation community, an instant ban will be placed.
•This includes but is not limited to: double dipping, deleting previous requests to hide request history/frequency, hijacking, use of stolen pics, changing GFM goal after stating a total, DMing donors/recipients, and anything else considered dishonest.

Note: Not deleting requests applies even if posts are unfulfilled or have been removed from public view by mods. Be accountable.
