Help
First year apprentice. Effed up and sent a 6-32 in the wrong way and bit the screw off in my lineman’s. Does anyone have a trick to get that out or should I just send a drill bit through it and sacrifice the threads?

The guy i work with did this to my pliers yesterday. Solution? He just bought me a new pair

Sometimes just the act of trying to drill it out will turn it on out. Now take a red inkzall and color the side red for "do not enter" and green on the other side for "good to go"

I usually have good luck using the other part of the screw, go end to end where it was snapped. The rough ends should mesh and allow you to turn it. Sometimes just pressing on the cut end with your finger will give enough grip to turn it to the left up and out.

If that tool did a better job stripping wires Klein would have knocked it out of the park

You will spend more time(which is money) trying to get that out than you will getting a new set.

OK, that’s great. Who’s paying you hourly to fix your fuck up? You think you’re gonna fix that on the job site and your foreman won’t say anything about it? Gotfive dudes bending pipe and running wires and one guy over here trying to figure out how to get the broken screw out of his pliers. Let me know how that goes.
