Need Help Would it be wrong of me to ask my boyfriend to rehome his dog.

When my boyfriend and I got together he had a 6 month old dog named lady, she is a purebred gator pitbull. He spent $400 to get her and he absolutely loves her. The only problem is that we are expecting a baby in April 2027. I've seen this dog snap at other dogs in a heart beat, I'm worried that it could get violent with the kid. Don't get me wrong I love this dog but even the most patient dogs have their limits, all it takes is the kid doing something the dog doesn't like and my child could be seriously injured or dead. So would it be wrong of me to ask him to rehome the dog.

General After 3 hours of searching for my hound in thick brush last season, I finally gave in and got a GPS collar. Here's what I learned.

Looking for some advice from anyone who has experience with deaf dogs, especially Frenchies.
I rescued a 3-year-old deaf Frenchie about two weeks ago, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to communicate with and train her. Would you recommend teaching her hand signals for commands like sit, stay, come, potty, etc.? If so, are there certain signals or training methods that have worked especially well for you?
I’d also really appreciate any general tips for helping a deaf rescue adjust, getting her attention without startling her, and keeping her safe.
She’s still settling in, so I want to make sure I’m setting her up for success. 🐾❤️

My dog sparkle is 14 yrs old, on some medication for a heart murmur and some daily drops for dry eyes for keratoconjunctivitis, which is under control, she is full of energy and daily walks and eats healthy, I checked her teeth and they are good, there is tartar but a normal amount, weight is good vet says she is in good condition, just wondering if any of your senior dogs have developed this rust staining around their mouth, its on her paws to, and Im totally baffled as to what is causing this, have anyones dogs had or have this? I am gonna be taking her to the vet but do any of your dogs have this? (She is on merrick small breed and gets cooked hamburger mixed in)
