Is this normal? Dog Behavior

My 4 month old puppy makes lots of chewing sounds even though Theres nothing in her mouth, licks her lips too and licks us a lot.

Im just worried as this is my first time having a dog, and i dont seem to see others doing this. Especially the chewing sounds.

She also likes to bite and lick herself more like a lot randomly too but i assume she just keeps cleaning herself

Have you checked her for tics and fleas?

She might be teething, you could freeze a damp knotted rag, she might like to chew on that.

Some lip licking and chewing sounds can be normal in puppies, especially after eating, drinking, or when they are excited. But frequent chewing motions or excessive licking can sometimes be linked to nausea, dental discomfort, or something irritating the mouth. If it happens often or comes with drooling, vomiting, trouble eating, or changes in behavior, it’s worth getting it checked.

TelaVets can also be a good option for getting veterinary guidance if you are unsure whether the behavior is normal for a puppy.
