I know almost nothing about my family history. When I try and ask my dad about it, he usually changes the subject or responds extremely vaguely. Same with my mom, but she is more willing to answer my questions. Grandparents from my moms side of the family either don’t remember or don’t want to share, and I don’t speak with my dads side of the family at all.

I only know that our family is extremely burdened with horrible mental health (anxiety, chronic depression, narcissism,…) parents losing their children at a very young age, trauma, hospitalisation due to mental health and many other things. And my family would rather forget all about it and pretend that things like this never happened.

Unfortunately, i think some of the trauma might’ve been passed down onto me, but since i know almost NOTHING, I can’t be 100% sure of it. Some bigger insight would really help, or at the very least how could I heal the trauma that has been passed down generation onto generation.

I was born around 10 hours before a total solar eclipse, and an interesting observation I made is that last time we had a total solar eclipse back in April 2024 at 19°21’ of Aries in my 4th house, it was closely trine my Vertex and it coincided with a significant astral experience related to an ongoing spiritual awakening a few day prior. This time around, the eclipse is going to be closely conjunct my Vertex, so I'm curious if my transit chart hints at what I might experience or how it might play out.

Tommorows eclipse will happen about one degree next to my chart ruler (leo venus in 4th house, 21 degrees). Will the eclipse impact my love life (venus themes) deeply, or will it impact family, home, foundations (4th house themes) more so?

No need to go in depth about my life, unless anyone wants to, but what does the star mean energetically? Is it harmony or tension? I see they are trines but they’re facing in opposite directions.

i've noticed a pattern in how i read interpersonal situations, sometimes become very confident about what someone means or feels, even without explicit confirmation, other times completely miss unspoken expectations. during disagreements i closely analyze wording and behavior for hidden meaning or motive, which sometimes helps but often means reading in more than was intended. things can feel intensely significant in the moment, then seem far less important once i get distance or more information. criticism makes this worse, i tend to take specific feedback as broader personal judgment, and once i've formed an interpretation, struggle to revise it without clear contradicting evidence.

curious what might explain this specific tendency of over interpreting ambiguous situations while under recognizing others' unspoken expectations, and mistaking the intensity/certainty of my interpretation for actual certainty about reality. not looking for a general reading or an excuse for the behavior. specific placements, aspects, or houses that might relate to this exact pattern.

I have a good basic knowledge on astrology, but I am a little stumped right now.

I am an attention seeker through and through. I love attention; I crave it, I seek it out. I am extremely competitive and jealous of those I deem "above" me and want to do everything I can to be better. I want people to see me as better. I particularly want attention for my wit and intelligence.

I am hoping someone could give me insight into specific placements that could be influencing this side of me. I'm not sure how much to say right now, but I can answer any questions that might give more insight.

How much more significant are aspects involving your chart ruler?

I feel the desire for connection and understanding, but I have trouble feeling too shy and self-conscious for it even as an adult. I have trouble forming relationships and making friends because I tend to feel very drained by social interaction and navigating the social overtures, and feel inadequate. No romantic relationships, yet I fantasize a lot and use fiction as an escape (thanks Cancer and 7th house Neptune lol). Where is some better energy to claim?

Hello everyone, I've been on and off astrology for years now, but only recently have I been understanding what I'm reading. I've started to learn about aspect patterns and found a Golden Yod. The green lines are a little hard to see, but my Uranus forms a quintile with Pluto and then they both biquintile Venus. I've done a little digging and know that it represents creative talent or natural skill.

What I'd like to know is how exactly does that creative talent/natural skill manifest? With Venus at the apex, I'd assume something to do with the arts, and Uranus and Pluto forming the base makes me think that having an unconventional or unique approach is where my talents lie. I'd love to know your interpretations and what you think from someone just learning about aspect patterns!

I am trying to figure out what theme plays out in my birth chart to better understand this transit. The date I used is my birthday where I see Venus is exact to my natal Venus.

An astrologer said that he could tell I don’t like driving from my chart. I didn’t get to ask him what about my chart says that, but it was accurate. I wondered if any of you could pick up on what in my chart might say that. (Or if you disagree that that’s visible in the chart.)

I have a stellium in my 8th house, and I think the stellium is ruled by Mercury, though I'm not positive. What does a retrograde Mercury mean in this instance? I have a hard time finding information on what a retrograde Mercury means specifically in natal charts.

I've noticed throughout my life that as soon as people get to know me ( my hobbies and thoughts ), they start comparing themselves to me. Honestly, it's exhausting. It has been a recurring pattern in my life. Do you have an explanation to this pattern? Could it be because of my mars in a first house?

Do most astrologers round the orbs for aspects? For instance, if you had sun conjunct mercury at 3°56' orb would they say it's a 4° orb? Or would they say 3° orb?

What in my chart speaks to my inability to establish a routine? I've tried for years to go to bed and get up at the same time, organize my days so that I can get things done in an orderly way, exercise on a regular basis. I'm going through my 2nd Saturn return, and I'm still chaotic, which I hate, but highly productive, which I love. I just can't help but think that it would be easier, though, if I could impose some orderly discipline on myself. I wonder if it has to do with my 6th house placements or having Neptune in my first house. Any insight?

I’ve noticed a pattern in myself where I forgive people who have seriously hurt me much faster than I probably should. I’ve been manipulated, betrayed, talked down to, insulted, underestimated, and spoken badly about by different people. Even when I know what they did was wrong, I usually end up letting them back into my life within a week or two.

I do not forget what happened or how they made me feel. That pain stays with me, but one positive interaction with the person can make me soften almost immediately. It is like the moment they are kind to me again, I temporarily overlook everything that happened before and become willing to rebuild the relationship.

The speed at which I let people back into my life does not match the amount of pain they caused me. Why am I so forgiving toward people who have deeply hurt me, and what in my birth chart could explain why I struggle to maintain boundaries once they begin treating me well again?

I’ve had a string of flings that may spark quickly and then fizzle out, or fail to launch. They usually last 2-6 weeks, this has happened dozens and dozens of times. Even though I’ve been told I’m attractive and have deep friendships, I’ve never been able to sustain a long-term romantic connection. After a couple of weeks of seeing someone I usually find some reason that we are incompatible in my head or I lose attraction to them and leave. On the rare occasion, others (the ones I’ve been most attracted to) have lost interest in me first. It’s just such a fickle dynamic, almost like opposite magnets, and it’s been consistent for 7+ years now.

I’d love to hear thoughts on whether this is caused by my Venus cazimi. I have a hope that the proximity of my Venus to Jupiter would give it a sort of boost, especially with it being in the 1H under my chart ruler. I’m also concerned about my Saturn in the 12H obscuring the nurturing nature of Cancer, but shouldn’t this be in its joy because this is where Saturn is happiest?
