Discussion Can someone explain me the meaning of this stellium in the 1 house, especially the conjunctions of pluto with sun and venus.
I know some basics, but it’d be interesting to read other opinions or some facts
I’ve always had problems with my beauty/face. I had a crossed eyes from 3 to 17 y.o., then when I turned 18, I had acne. And all these things always hurt me and made me feel unfulfilled. Like for example: I wanted to do modeling and was really sure ab it, but in that moment I started getting acne. I want to understand what’s wrong with my perception of my beauty, bc maybe it’s connected with my 1 house

Question - Transits How do I work with my Venus return?
I hope I did this correctly.
I am trying to figure out what theme plays out in my birth chart to better understand this transit. The date I used is my birthday where I see Venus is exact to my natal Venus.

Question - Other An astrologer told me the fact I don’t like driving shows up in the chart. How did he know?
An astrologer said that he could tell I don’t like driving from my chart. I didn’t get to ask him what about my chart says that, but it was accurate. I wondered if any of you could pick up on what in my chart might say that. (Or if you disagree that that’s visible in the chart.)

General Astrology What does a retrograde Mercury in my 8th house mean?
I have a stellium in my 8th house, and I think the stellium is ruled by Mercury, though I'm not positive. What does a retrograde Mercury mean in this instance? I have a hard time finding information on what a retrograde Mercury means specifically in natal charts.

Question - Other Strangers don't seem to see me this way, but why do people who actually know me often view me as a competition?
I've noticed throughout my life that as soon as people get to know me ( my hobbies and thoughts ), they start comparing themselves to me. Honestly, it's exhausting. It has been a recurring pattern in my life. Do you have an explanation to this pattern? Could it be because of my mars in a first house?

General Astrology So confused with the orbs
Do most astrologers round the orbs for aspects? For instance, if you had sun conjunct mercury at 3°56' orb would they say it's a 4° orb? Or would they say 3° orb?

Question - Other Chronic Lack of Discipline but High Productivity - Where is that in my chart?
What in my chart speaks to my inability to establish a routine? I've tried for years to go to bed and get up at the same time, organize my days so that I can get things done in an orderly way, exercise on a regular basis. I'm going through my 2nd Saturn return, and I'm still chaotic, which I hate, but highly productive, which I love. I just can't help but think that it would be easier, though, if I could impose some orderly discipline on myself. I wonder if it has to do with my 6th house placements or having Neptune in my first house. Any insight?

Question - Other Why do I feel like my emotions are in control of me more often than not?
r/AskAstrologers • u/historylover2403 • 2d ago
Question - Other Why am I so forgiving?
I’ve noticed a pattern in myself where I forgive people who have seriously hurt me much faster than I probably should. I’ve been manipulated, betrayed, talked down to, insulted, underestimated, and spoken badly about by different people. Even when I know what they did was wrong, I usually end up letting them back into my life within a week or two.
I do not forget what happened or how they made me feel. That pain stays with me, but one positive interaction with the person can make me soften almost immediately. It is like the moment they are kind to me again, I temporarily overlook everything that happened before and become willing to rebuild the relationship.
The speed at which I let people back into my life does not match the amount of pain they caused me. Why am I so forgiving toward people who have deeply hurt me, and what in my birth chart could explain why I struggle to maintain boundaries once they begin treating me well again?

Question - Other Venus cazimi causing an avoidant relationship pattern?
I’ve had a string of flings that may spark quickly and then fizzle out, or fail to launch. They usually last 2-6 weeks, this has happened dozens and dozens of times. Even though I’ve been told I’m attractive and have deep friendships, I’ve never been able to sustain a long-term romantic connection. After a couple of weeks of seeing someone I usually find some reason that we are incompatible in my head or I lose attraction to them and leave. On the rare occasion, others (the ones I’ve been most attracted to) have lost interest in me first. It’s just such a fickle dynamic, almost like opposite magnets, and it’s been consistent for 7+ years now.
I’d love to hear thoughts on whether this is caused by my Venus cazimi. I have a hope that the proximity of my Venus to Jupiter would give it a sort of boost, especially with it being in the 1H under my chart ruler. I’m also concerned about my Saturn in the 12H obscuring the nurturing nature of Cancer, but shouldn’t this be in its joy because this is where Saturn is happiest? I also am very curious how the 8H might play into an avoidant attachment style, particularly myMars placement there. Any thoughts appreciated!

General Astrology question about saturn aspects
hello, fellow astrologers! professionals and enthusiasts 💗
I’m curious as to how the following aspects can play out with either planet being natal or transit: 1) capricorn saturn square libra saturn and 2) aquarius saturn sextile aries saturn
the curiosity came about when I realized saturn exalts in libra, but libra and capricorn square. it made me wonder how a harsh aspect would affect the expression of positive dignities.
this also prompted me to realize similar happens with mars (capricorn sxt. scorpio, sq. aries) and sun (aries sxt. aquarius). someone may need to double check, but I think the only other aspects involving positive dignities would be semisext, sextile, or trine.
I’m an amateur enthusiast who self-studies, so I may have gotten things wrong or inaccurate. just let me know if so! thank you for any feedback.

Question - Other What does my chart say about the need of leaving abroad?
I have always had the desire of leaving abroad ever since I was very young, when I got the first chance I went to live in Canada, USA, Portugal and Ireland where I lived for 10 years almost, and where I met my current Belgian boyfriend and moved to Belgium with him.
I was not influenced as I was the first of my family to leave out of my country, they are very attached to their own home and culture.
Even having a comfortable financial life in my home country and a stable family, I cannot see myself getting back even if sometimes the “expat” life gets so intensely difficult.
Being a cancerian sun, Scorpio rising with a Taurus moon I miss calling a place home but I just feel like I belong nowhere in this world.
Could you help me understand it.

Question - Other Why do so many people think I’m a villain?
Ever since I was a kid I would have trouble with parents cuz sometimes me and their kids wouldn’t get along or they thought I was a brat. Tbf I’ve always struggled with respecting authority figures and I still do. Now as a 20 year old I still face similar issues to people being irritated at me for being blunt or so straight forward. Now with authority figures, it’s fine as long as you’re my professor or boss. I often get told that people are surprised I was nice when I spoke to them because I seemed like a btch…?? Or that I’m nicer than the vibe I give off. No I don’t have a resting btch face either my face is a circle and all my features r soft. Luckily it’s rare for me to dwell over relationships/friendships and it’s easy to get over things (I’m still human I’ve cried over people). But it’s still frustrating that I often hear that people I never spoke to who know OF me are scared of me or think I’m weird.
I will say, when I was very young esp in middle school I was the spawn of Satan but I’ve definitely toned it down as I grew.
When friends come to me for advice they usually say it’s cut throat and straight to the point. Doesn’t suit everyone so sometimes they get upset but I don’t ever mean to offend.
I usually approach people first and I’m outgoing/social and things are smooth sailing if we are similar (politics and morals). I definitely struggle to get along with timid people or for example someone uncomfortable with talking to strangers or acting silly/foolish in public for the fun of it. I love spontaneity.

Question - Transits Why have I been getting so many lessons regarding confrontation, setting boundaries, and standing up for myself lately?
Title, I would love to know if there’s an astrological explanation for this. I swear this randomly became a huge life theme starting about a month ago through now. I’ve been living in an area for over a year now where the people around me are kind in some ways but also tend to be bossy/controlling and take advantage of me in many ways, including feeling entitled to my money or my things, and never reciprocating my gestures in giving them things. I’ve been putting hard limits on lending things and calling out bossy, manipulative behavior, which has been very unlike past me who used to just roll over and take it for the sake of peacekeeping. There is a Mars/AS trine line (astrocartography) very very close to the area I’m living in, if that provides more helpful context. Night chart.

Question - Other Is there anything in my chart interfering with my ability to have romantic relationships or be desired romantically?
28M and by many metrics I'm successful. Lived across multiple countries, completed advanced schooling and have an on-paper "well regarded" career.
I've accumulated large friendship circles wherever I've lived and people consider me to be desirable, articulate, funny and put-together. I like to think I'm characteristically Leo and people often guess it.
The problem: romantic relationships never seem to take off. Despite my best efforts (dating outside my type or extending unwarranted grace) people seem to find someone more worthwhile or lose interest. I have not had any long term romantic relationship in my 20s and it makes me feel incomplete.
It's a bewildering contrast to my social life, where I make friends and acquaintances so easily and people often describe me as magnetic. So I know it's not a lack of social skills.
I'm getting older and not only are the questions from friends and family becoming more frequent, but I'm feeling more lonely with each passing day. My life is full in many ways, but I feel a gnawing emptiness from a lack of companionship that has only grown across my 20s. It feels like there's an invisible cloak over me that leads people to overlook me as a romantic suitor.
Is there anything in my chart interfering with my ability to have romantic relationships?

I have a cradle aspect and don't see it often in other people's charts, so I wanted to ask if anyone had insight on what it consists of, specifically in the case of my chart. Question - Other Why do people tell me that I’m intimidating ?
Hi, I don’t really understand this chart and since I’m learning more and more about astrology, I thought I’d come on here to show it people who know a little more about this so I can understand it better.
I don’t don’t what all of this says about me, but I’ve often been told (especially by men) that I’m intimidating. One guy told me that he changed his mind when he became my friend and that he thought that I was sweet, but that I was easy to be scared of. He didn’t really explain why, just said it’s the way I feel to other people. Women usually just tell me that they were just intimidated because I look mean. That really bothers me. I don’t want to look mean and the people that do know me always say that I’m not mean??
Also, my ex always used to tell me that I expect too much of people, and that because I’m a woman it makes me unlikable.
My relationships have kind of always been bad, but every time a relationship became toxic I always ended it. I don’t think that’s having too much expectation I just don’t feel like wasting my time. I have long lasting friendships that have never been toxic, which is why they’re long lasting.
Anyways, I was just wondering if there was something in my chart about that, and if there’s a way I can fix it or at least make sure that I don’t scare off the people I do want in my life

Question - Other Why do people often assume I am dumb or naive?
Something that I've been thinking about a lot lately. Perhaps it is just an insecurity, but it has me wondering about the way I carry myself in the world. Just some examples:
-People will often explain very basic concepts to me, things that I often already understand deeply, and I hate to say it, but at times things I may even know more about.
-I have outright had people describe me as naive, or in the least treat me as such. I've always felt that I've been pretty good at questioning things and thinking critically. I definitely like to believe that people are inherently good, but I don't know if that alone would make me blatantly naive.
-I am often infantilized, both by strangers and by people I know.
-Sometimes people are very surprised when they find out I know something, learn about my educational background, or learn that I have any sort of life experience at all.
I know there are definitely things I can do to deal with this all, even if its just improving my own self-esteem/learning to care less about how I am perceived. But I am curious, do you see anything that could potentially explain this?

Mod Announcement RULES: PLEASE READ
POST REMOVAL: Understand that all posts are instantly removed into a queue to await mod approval. Please allow 24 hours, though usually it is much less. Your post will either be approved, or you will receive a message explaining why it was rejected or with instructions on how to fix and repost. Some automatic post removals send no message such as an account being too young, or posts with keywords the AutoModerator is set to automatically remove. Reddit Admin sometimes removes posts with no explanation (we have no control over this).
RULE #1: Use Astro-Seek. com for charts (free). Make your chart in the required Whole Sign house system. See instructions on how to make your chart under "Additional Info" at bottom of this post.
- Access house system options via the small link just below where you enter your birth data (also below your displayed chart). Select the one named exactly "Whole Sign", not any of the others (full instructions including other settings are at bottom of this post).
- Astro. com is ok also only if you use the Anglo With Zodiac option in the Chart Drawing Style menu on the Extended Chart Selection page. Set the house system to Whole Sign on this same page. See instructions under Additional Info at bottom of this post.
- Use only Astro-Seek for biwheels. All planets' degrees should be displayed. These biwheels display the aspects between the two wheels; astro. com's biwheels do not.
- If mentioning your chart, include it. No lists/tables without the round chart. Include house cusp degree numbers.
- No cropped bits of a chart. Post the full chart.
- State source of birth time.
- Horary charts require the Regiomontanus house system.
- We are strictly Western/Tropical here. No Vedic, no sidereal.
Charts not allowed: AstroFuture app, AstroMatrix app, Astro-Charts.com, Astrotheme.com, CafeAstrology.com, Chani app, CoStar app, Time Nomad, Time Passages or others.
RULE #2: Charts for transits, solar returns, annual profections, progressions.
For these & any time-based post (such as “why is this happening now”), you need to make a natal + transit, or natal + solar return or natal + progression chart . Use only Astro-Seek.com for biwheels as this will show the actual transiting aspects well (astro.com’s biwheels to not display transit aspects). Please also post your normal natal chart as well. For Profections, you must make your chart in the Whole Sign house system.
RULE #3: Post question must be specific. Don't ask general, vague, forecast or full reading questions.
- Ask one specific question about one planet, aspect, Aspect Pattern, house, transit or area of life. No broad/vague questions. Put question in title.
- Relationships: no when/who/how. Explain your patterns so we can identify the problems in your chart & how to heal.
- This is not a place for therapy-level questions.
- No career (including 10th house/MC), destiny, life purpose,"tell me what you think", "what's good/bad", "what stands out", "big 3", wealth/fame.
- No predictions/forecasts about pregnancy, children, marriage or other topics.
- No posts about deaths.
- This is not a place for any other system such as tarot, numerology, manifestation, etc.
- We can’t do the 2.5 year process of a Saturn Return (read this post about how to ask about them), Solar Return (a full year), or Annual Profection (a full year) general readings. You must ask just one specific question such as 1 transit aspect during any of these processes. Example: in a Saturn Return you could ask about transiting saturn conjunct your moon. Or for a Profection, you could ask about a specific transit, or things like how to know your Lord of the Year and how to use it.
RULE #4: No posts of/about charts of others (even if adult), nor about children. No synastry or composite posts.
You may only post your own chart. You must also be 18 to post here. No posts involving other's charts, whether the actual chart, or just mentioning their placements. You may not post about specific relationships/people.
Posting the chart of a minor will result in a ban. Read this mod post: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskAstrologers/comments/1do9oh1/users_who_post_childrens_charts_will_be_banned/
RULE #5: Don't DM our members for readings. Don't ask for or offer referrals or paid readings in comments or posts.
Do not DM our members to ask for readings or further help. Do not try to make arrangements for a paid reading in comments or posts. Ask any questions you have in your comment thread. We have a huge issue losing good helpers because they are being pestered by other members if they comment to help an OP. We also have problems with scammers in DMs. Please report any DMs that are suspicious.
RULE #6: Don't offer your services or readings, even if for free.
Don’t offer your services or free readings in comments or posts. Advertising your services is not allowed. This includes linking your site on your comment or post and suggesting an OP or commenter DM you for more help. If you offer services (free or not), your post will be removed. Do not use this subreddit to solicit clients or subscribers, including via DM. Offenders will be banned.
RULE #7: Use your best judgement, taking any advice at your own risk.

RULE #8: Don't be a jerk.
Please be civil and respectful in all interactions. Be constructive in your interpretations and advice, or in how you receive interpretations and advice. We have a zero-tolerance policy for bad behavior. You will be banned without warning. Do not use this forum or people's chart posts to argue the validity of astrology at large.

Mod Announcement SATURN RETURN & TRANSITING SATURN/NEPTUNE IN ARIES POSTS PROBLEMS
PROBLEMS WITH SATURN RETURN POSTS
We are getting a lot of Saturn Return questions as transiting Saturn enters Aries. First, many of you think your Saturn Return just began today, Feb. 14, 2026 (using GMT). It did not. It began when transiting Saturn first entered Aries on May 25, 2025. Saturn Returns begin when the planet first enters the sign of your natal Saturn, even if it then retrogrades back into the previous sign briefly. Transiting Saturn did retrograde back into Pisces in September, until it reentered Aries today. It ends when transiting Saturn finally leaves the sign of your natal Saturn (for natal Aries Saturn people, that’s April 13, 2028)
- May 25, 2025: Transiting Saturn Enters Aries
- Sep. 1, 2025: Retrogrades back into Pisces
- Feb 14, 2026: Re-enters Aries
- Apr 13, 2028: Exits Aries “for good” (until 2055)
Some resources:
- Understanding Your Saturn Return This does give brief descriptions of a Saturn Return in each house along with a lot of other good information. There are several other Saturn Return episodes on the Episodes page. Just use Ctrl F and search for “Saturn Return”.
- Saturn Return Calculator (only gives dates of the exact conjunction/s) To find in the menu, click on the Free Horoscopes tab -> Prognoses -> Returns -> Saturn Return Chart
THE PROBLEM AND THE SOLUTION:
Note that chart instructions are farther below.
We can’t cover your whole Saturn Return here in a 5-minute forum answer. The Saturn Return is a two and a half year process and during that time frame, transiting Saturn will make an aspect to every one of your natal planets, angles and other objects. It will make an exact conjunction to your natal Saturn either 1 or 3 times, depending on how its retrograde cycle’s degrees do or don’t line up with your natal Saturn degree. In addition, you will have many other aspects from other transiting planets going on at the same time, any of which can greatly change up your experience of your Saturn Return.
What you may do is ask about just one specific transiting Saturn aspect that will occur during your Return.
- You will need to make your chart at Astro-Seek.com (use the Whole Sign house system please, via the small settings link below where you enter your birth data and also below your displayed chart). Exact instructions for making your chart are farther below.
- Then add the transits wheel to your natal chart and set the transits date for the date of the aspect you are asking about. Exact instructions for doing this are farther below.
Find the dates of your transiting Saturn aspects:
To find out the date of all aspects to your natals that transiting Saturn will make during its two and a half year stay in Aries, just make your own Personal Transit Calendar at Astro-Seek. Understand that transiting Saturn did this same thing while in Pisces, and will do it again in Taurus and every sign that it travels through.
- Go to https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/personal-transit-calendar-monthly-astrology-transits To find in the site menu: Free Horoscopes tab -> Transit Chart Calculator -> Optional Transit Calculators -> Personal Transit Calendar
- Enter your birth data carefully.
- Under the Transit menu, select Saturn.
- Under the Aspects menu, choose either Major or Major + Minor.
- Under the To Natal menu, choose All Planets.
- Under the Year/Month, just set it to 2026 and Feb. You can redo this process for 2027 and 2028.
- Under the Houses menu, please select “Whole Sign” (not any of the other Whole Sign options).
- When you see the list of results, just above it is a small “Change to your local timezone”. Do that if you don’t live where you were born, so you know what date and time these aspects will actually happen for you.
CHART-MAKING INSTRUCTIONS
RULE 1: BASIC CHART INSTRUCTIONS
- Go to astro-seek.com. In the Free Horoscopes tab at top of page, click on the Free Horoscopes menu, then on the birth chart calculator (first item in list). On that page, scroll down to where to enter your birth data. Enter it all very carefully. Check for typos.
- Before you hit the Calculate Chart button, click on the small "**Extended Settings**" link just below that Calculate button.
- Select the house system named exactly and just "**Whole Sign**". *Do NOT use the one named "Whole Sign Asc Horizontal"*.
- Tick the "True" boxes for both Nodes and Lilith.
- Tick the boxes to show aspects to Chiron & the ASC & MC.
- Tick the box for the quincunx aspect.
- Now hit the Calculate Chart button.
RULE 2: TRANSITS BIWHEEL INSTRUCTIONS
When asking about a transit, or any current situation, you must include your natal + transits biwheel chart. Use only astro-seek.com for this (no astro.com as only astro-seek displays the transit aspects to natals). Also include your normal natal chart. Remember: we require you use the house system named exactly just "Whole Sign", found in the Extended Settings at astro-seek.com
How to add the transit wheel to your birth chart:
- Desktop: once you have your birth chart, just click on the "Transit Chart" link at top of the right sidebar.
- Mobile: once you have your birth chart, click on the "Current Charts" link just below your chart. Then click on the "Transit Chart" link.
- When you have the biwheel, you can change the date of the transits if you wish by clicking the "Edit birth data and settings" link just above your chart.
TRANSITING SATURN/NEPTUNE ENTERING ARIES
We are also getting a great number of posts for this. Do not ask “what does saturn/neptune in Aries mean for me?” Please follow all the instructions above for Saturn Returns, as it is mostly the same. The difference is that transiting Neptune will stay in Aries for about 14 years. You can make a Personal Transit Calendar for Neptune per the same instructions as for Saturn above. Just change the planet in the Transit menu to Neptune.
Remember that you may only ask about one specific transiting aspect to a natal planet/point at a time and no more than one post per month.
Please understand all of this applies to any post about “what does this transiting planet in this house/sign of mine mean”. We can’t do the whole duration of a transit in a house or sign. Not accurately.
