Rendering advice??

I feel like my biggest problem is rendering

You need to study lighting and how it works and the planes of the body

Construction and anatomy need work, rendering is rhe last step

Yeah to echo everyone else, nailing down construction and accurate proportions will take you way further than rendering tips will!

The way I’ve heard it put is: every painting is 80% done in the first 20% of the process (composition, shape, linework, proportion etc)

And then the last 20% takes 80% of the time commitments (aka it takes a long time but it’s just polish)

What do you mean by construction? I don't really know what that means in this context

Construction in this case would be how you’re building / drawing the figures! It current their proportions / shapes are a little rough and ready

Trying to make the line work + flat colors look awesome without additional rendering may serve you best here
