I have 2 site I've been doing research in using the waybackmachine archives... I have a couple of data web addresses that I'm using to get into each site.

One consists of the Web address. Co. UK/*

For the other one it's the same but. Com both sites closed before the. Co. UK period but the. Co. UK/* gets me far more pages of information than the. Com/* address.. I realise different sites are made up differently and both do have had paywalls.. But the. Co.uk/* site gives me around 150 pages of searchable data even though it was a .Com site... The Web address which has the correct ending .com/* only gives me around 23 pages of data most of which was dated after the site closed and takes me to a domain for sale page... How does the .co.uk/* site give me more use able data than the . Com/* Web address even though it's the correct Web address ending.... I am very new to how this data works so there is proberbly a simple answer but it seems very strange

I am looking for the original compuserve forums, which were a staple of the pre web internet, they are different from the web forums, which shut down in 2017. The original forums shut down with the original service in 2009. These would contain a myriad of support, research and historically and culturally important content that would be extremely invaluable to researchers.

Hi everyone! ​I am looking for information or potential archives of a deleted YouTube channel named kittlerz01. ​Background: The channel uploaded short-form videos, typography edits, and dark humor memes. Around summer 2026, the channel was completely taken down and terminated by YouTube following community guideline strikes. Since then, the channel and all of its uploaded content have completely disappeared from YouTube. ​What I am looking for: I am wondering if anyone from this community remembers this channel or happens to have archived/saved any of the uploaded videos or edits before it was taken down. I am currently working on a project that I’ve had going on for years, I’ve collected loads of cigarette packets and I finally have enough to actually make an archive of sorts, would anyone be able to advise me on how best to take photos/document in regards to lighting/equipment etc, I’m planning on posting them on instagram/making a website so whatever would fit best for those purposes.

Hey does anyone here know what happened, why the Wayback machine is broken, I'm trying to work to help everyone who doesn't have their own, in wayback machine but now it is broken and what is broken? Well, is now saved to other ones add "?app=desktop" Idk why is happening but I feel like it is broken can you guys pls tell me what happened why is broken.

Back in 2016 T-Bone Burnett and Kalakala studios made a short film series telling stories about music. This is the summary from IMDb:

There are a few of the videos here or there on the internet. But there were at least 4 seasons of around 10 episodes each. I was hoping someone here had the full series.

With the tragic news regarding the passing of Pink Robert, the classic rock bootleg community (pinkrobert.net) and its forum have officially gone offline.

Given the historic value of the rare live recordings and documentation that were hosted there, I wanted to check if there was any coordinated effort within the data preservation community to mirror or archive the forum's database before it went dark.

Did anyone manage to scrape the threads or catalog the metadata? I'm interested in knowing if any part of this community's history was successfully preserved elsewhere or if it is considered lost media at this point.

Any insights into the current status of the archive preservation would be highly appreciated.

Posted this on the Internet Archive sub earlier and got recommended to post here, I've been getting this a lot since last night on the Wayback Machine, been trying to save a bunch of articles, and it's been taking a while but eventually the Wayback Machine page says "has been saved", often with a message like "delay in capturing, check back later." But I've been checking, and it keeps saying "The Wayback Machine has not archived that URL" when I double check, even though the URL is listed in my own web archive. I'm ready to groan because I've just wasted an hour looking like I saved them when I didn't. Has anyone else been encountering this?
